"Repairs went extremely well. A-1 Pump's had all repair parts that were needed on-hand with them. This was the second time I have used A-1 Pump & Supply Company. The crew is very knowledgeable and professional. They also keep a record of parts used and existing equipment on site, keeping themselves informed of on site equipment which helps expedite future repairs."

"I have a Value Plan (paid each month), but the company said they would not or could not come service my pool pump any day or time because I didn't have coverage. I asked what that meant and apparently, if I don't pay extra every month, I can't have the company I already pay come to my house for this service; even if I'm willing to pay a service fee! Wow, I've called another company for this service and they may be my new HVAC company. I clearly don't understand the why here. I'm already their customer! The cost of retaining existing customers vs. aquiring a new one must not be a key metric for AB May."

"Well down in afternoon, no water. Called Flynn, came out quickly and did diagnosis. Needed to pull well pump. Came back first thing next morning and pulled pump, replaced pump, wire. Asked them to do some interior plumbing while they were here, pressure switch, gauge, main shutoff, replumb with modern parts, did it no problem. Excellent service, promptness. <br />"

"The estimate process went great, we've really been impressed with the sales folks they send out. He was very flexible about timing, and spent quite a bit of time preparing the documents. We ultimately did not hire Drybasement to remodel the basement because the estimate was considerably more (to the tune of about $52K), including creating an egress window somewhere along the foundation - an expense we did not take into account. While we did not choose to move ahead with Drybasement on this project, we do still have our sump pump serviced by them and would not hesitate to recommend them to others."

"I attempted to remove my old well pump myself. After two days and 200 feet of steel pipe it turned to PVC. 15 feet later the pump got lodged in the casing, would not go up or down. After doing everything I could to try to get it out I started calling multiple well companies. After explaining the problem every company had the same solution. Knock the pump back into the well and set a new one on top, if there was room. If not, SOL. <br /> Ray's starting price was less than half of what everyone else quoted, which made me wonder about quality of service, but it didn't take long after he got here to stop wondering. Him and his son Adam arrived a few hours after I called, 2 hours before they said they would be here, ready to go. They lowered 70 foot of pipe down the hole before they knocked the old pump free. Knowing there was still 70 feet of pipe attached to the pump meaning there was not much chance of putting a new pump on top of it he then took a piece of pipe big enough to fit around the pump and cut it right there so that the end was in the shape of a funnel and lowered that 300 foot into the well to try to "fish" it out and he did. The only reason he got it out was because of his home made fishing device that he made for my specific problem and his expertise. I really don't think more than a handful of companies would have gotten the old pump out and I may have had to take a loan out for a new well to be drilled. Instead he charged me 500 for the 4 hours of work, less than everyone else quoted just to come out. <br /> Because I did not want anything else to go wrong I had him install the new pump. When it was all hooked up it was found that there was a leak in the back yard and no water in the house. Turns out that when I was bracing the pump and 270 foot of pipe it put so much weight on the ground above the water main it busted the pipe. <br /> I dug the pipe up in about an hour and Ray and his son came back out first thing the next morning and replaced that broken pipe at no cost. Not even charging for the extra materials they had to use or the extra hour the spent at my house. <br /> Today I have water and grateful that Pelton Pump company was listed here. I can't say enough about Ray and Adam, they are good people looking to run a fair business without ripping people off. <br />"
