"We recently had a home addition built which included a 16x20 foot screened in three season porch with a wood burning fireplace.  It is a beautiful addition to our home, but one of the unknowns early on in our design process was what type of windows to use.  We did not want to use crank out windows, glass windows, or have to deal with handling and storage of removable windows.  Our builder suggested we consider EZ Screen windows.  I did not want to commit to something I had not researched, so I asked EZ Screen if there was anyone nearby that had bought the product that I could interview.  They put me in contact with someone in my neighborhood who had had the product in his sunroom for 3 years.  He was kind enough to invite me over to view his porch and see the product.  I was pleased with what I learned, and purchased the product for our home addition, which is now complete. <br /> The product consists of a screened panel facing the outside, with several sliding transparent vinyl windows facing the interior of the room.  The windows can easily be slid up or down to enable 75% open screen area.  I was initially concerned about a plastic window not being clear enough, but after seeing them I saw that they are very clear, and my neighbor?s windows (which have been exposed to direct sunlight for several years) still look good. <br /> The window panels are easy to slide up and down and stay in place well.  In fact, about a week after installation we had some very severe storms with high winds in our neighborhood.  No problems.  <br /> The panels are easy to clean with only water and a microfiber cloth.  They are also removable which makes cleaning or replacement easy.  Interestingly they are ductile, which means they can take a big impact, stretch, but recover to the original shape. <br /> There are also several door models to choose from which contain the EZ Screen panels.  They are available in several colors. <br /> I have been very pleased with this product and the service we received from EZ Screen.  I feel this is a quality product and recommend it. <br />"

"Michiana Window World is extremely professional in every respect. <br /> I requested bids to replace my windows from three different contractors - two recommended by local people, and one from Anties List (Michiana Window World). Of the two locally recommended, one ignored me with promises to call back, but not doing so; a second came out (with sidearm), measured windows, but never returned with a quote.  The Window World rep came out with paperwork, measuring tools, and an example window. We saw the product and knew the estimated cost before he left. <br /> We paid 50% up front and scheduled an appointment. Window World later followed-up with us to be sure the date would still work. <br /> When they arrived on the scheduled date, the crew started at 10 AM and had completed their work by 3 PM. There was virtually no evidence that they had even been there. All debris and materials were cleaned up and taken away.  <br /> We have white aluminum siding on our house. Their white vinyl frames and trim worked very nicely.  <br /> The windows have a life-time guarantee and currently we are able to recover about $70/window as an energy savings rebate from the gas company. This was pointed out by the Window World Rep. <br /> Seriously - this company is a MUST when you are requesting a bid on your windows.  <br />"

"I first met Mr Gonzales during my search for someone to renovate my barn. I knew that this was going to be difficult as there were only a small handful of people in Indiana who had experience around horse farms as well as knowledge in general construction, much less construction in old barns. I had interviewed several people for the job and decided to hire Mr Gonzales based on the drawings he submitted, the previous work he showed me and referrals from other people in the industry. I am more than happy to say that he and his crew did an outstanding job, completed in a timely manner and kept the cost at exactly what he quoted me. His commitment to his job and his sense of integrity trickle down to those who work for him and around him. I have since referred him to anyone needing any work done outside or inside the house and/or farm. As for me and my family, we all continue to use him and his staff for many different jobs and are thankful for work he does."

"This could easily have been an "A" experience, except for one curious thing I'll get to in a moment... First, though, the positive: Corrigan was generally very prompt, courteous, and efficient, and the technician did good work in resolving my issue, at a price I thought was fair. Where I did have concern, however, was that this work was done during the Covid pandemic, and the technician - who was otherwise very courteous and professional - arrived and performed the work without wearing a mask. This was odd to me; whether or not you believe that masks are actually helpful, and regardless of how you feel about the severity of the pandemic, I think wearing one is a simple way of reassuring customers that you're concerned about their well-being during these uncertain times. (And for what it's worth, I've had six different people come to my home to do work or give a quote in the past couple of weeks, and this was the first time someone didn't wear a mask.) Still, though, Corrigan seems to know what they're doing work-wise, and I would recommend them to others (and hire them again)."
