"I had a major leak in my sprinkler system but I found the shut off valve and turned the water off. I found this company on Angies list and they had an A rating so I called them and the lady that took my call was very knowledgable. I had just bought the house and could not find the control panel and she tried her best to help me find it on the phone. She needed some information on the type of system it was but I could not find the panel anywhere. She said she would have a technician call me back to set up an appointment to come out. She said it would probably be Tuesday of the next week when they could come. I found the Control box the next day on the side of my house Outside and found the original company that installed it. I never heard back from the technician so I called the other company and made an appoitment with them for Tuesday. Monday morning I looked out my window and two guys from this company were digging up my yard. I went out and told them I had another company coming tomorrow but since they had already started to go ahead an finish the job. They replace one valve and repaired the second one after I found the second leak. Still my water meter was running too fast so we knew another leak was evident. They tried to save me some money by telling me leave the water on overnight and find the leak myself the next day. I did that but by that time the second company came out and fixed it for me and found one more that also needed repair. This company had knowledgable technicians and they knew how to repair the valves however, I feel that the charges were a little steep and some time could have been saved had they talked to me before they wasted so much time searching for the 1st leak. I knew exactly where it was. They called my cell phone when they arrived but I did not hear it. According to my phone, they were there at least 25 min before I found out they were even in my yard. The other company also sent two techs and found two more leaks and fixed those valves in half the time and half the money."

"Received an initial proposal in April.  Ryan came to our house and walked the yard to review the proposal with us.  Based on this we requested some changes and more coverage.  Ryan gave us a revised proposal and schedule.  One concern was the very old and large sycamore trees on our property.  Ryan reviewed precautions that would be taken to prevent damage to those and other landscaping.  He and a helper did almost all of the excavation by hand to prevent damage to tree roots.  We requested some changes while the work was in progress, which Ryan agreed to do without extra cost.  Ryan and his crew entirely cleaned up the yard and disposed of trash, then took some time to walk thru the system, explain the use of the new electronic controller, and help me to load the app onto my cell phone which allows remote control of the system.  The city inspector said that it was one of the best installations that he's seem (he explained what usually goes wrong with these systems and pointed out several things that Ryan had done to avoid these)>"

"This is the second time I've used Empire Lawn Service, and they did an excellent job again. Workers showed up within the time frame agreed upon, and my flowerbeds/shrubs look very nice and well groomed. Mr. Gonzalez remembered me from the last job (about 3 years ago) and gave me an estimate of how much it would cost, which came roughly the same amount. Even though this is his busy time of year, he got my small job done quickly and to my satisfaction. I will definitely use Empire again, and recommend his work to all those needing similar services."

"The lawn care service was wonderful. Our lawn looks much better than when we were managing it on our own. The lawn care providers who came out were all very gracious and knowledgeable. My frustration with TruGreen came from dealing with them around billing issues. On more than one occasion, I thought a matter resolved, just to have to call back and go through the full explanation again. At one point, I had halted service, telling them I would not continue with their service until the billing current billing issues were resolved ... and someone came out to my house just a few days later. Since they frequently provide service even when residents aren't home, I was billed for THAT service, until I initiated ANOTHER dispute. ....The lawn care service itself has been quite good, so we have continued with the company while we watch to see if the billing issues resolve."

"Jeremy has been treating my yard and maintaining my irrigation system for over a year now and has improved both significantly. He troubleshooted a couple issues with the system created by the installer and repaired them, and even came out on a Saturday morning to confirm that a separate pipe leak I had wasn’t related to my system. He has also restored the thin spots in my yard and is keeping the lawn free of weeds. He is very knowledgable about different chemicals, grasses and weeds and is great about reminding me when I need to do certain seasonal projects. I highly recommend this company!"
