"They sent out a guy to do the job that didn't go so well. When I got home from work and reviewed the job, my wife and I were rather disappointed. The quality of workmanship was pretty sloppy. Grout coloring was off. The supervisor came out and agreed the job wasn't done right. He said he'd discuss with the owner who was out of town and would make things right. They were very apologetic for what happened and were quite surprised. <br /> When the owner came back and the situation was discussed, I have to say they bent over backwards to make things right. First off the guy who did the work was let go. Then they scheduled another visit and pretty much re-grouted both chimney areas that were done before. They did the job right and it looks really great!  They didn't charge extra either. I did tip them good. <br /> I was very impressed with the owner and the supervisor. They were both very easy to work with and very accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use their services again for any chimney work. Their pricing is very reasonable. Their integrity is refreshing. <br />"

"After the scaffolding was erected, the top ten courses of brick were torn down and rebuilt, with proper flashing, A chimney liner was installed and the smoke chamber built up and parged. A chimney cap was installed, and some tuck pointing done. The guys were careful with the scaffolding and cleanup, and answered all our questions. The work was done promptly. The office could have communicated better, but there was no real problem. And the fireplace is now safe and works fine!"

"Bobby from Carlson's came out to inspect our heat pumps and determine why they weren't running properly. He was knowledgeable about the units and discovered in a very short time what was wrong. He was able to repair one of the heat pumps but sadly informed us that the other would need replacing. Within the week, Bobby returned personally to present three options for us to consider in replacing the heat pumps. We chose the unit that would best fit our needs. The new heat pump was promptly delivered and installed by Bobby and his crew. When the installation was finished, Robert and Andrea came out to inspect the work and help us set up our new thermostat. The entire crew, including receptionists at the office are a friendly, courteous group of people. Without asking, they always cover their outside shoes with cloth booties. In that we remove our shoes in the house, we truly appreciate this consideration. After the work was completed, Carlson's provided the necessary information and receipts to help us claim a tax rebate for energy credits. We feel this company went beyond what was expected of them in doing work at our house. <br />"

He did a fantastic job and was really reasonable on his price for the extra time he spent to clean, check on the condition of the chimney and give advice on maintaining a clean chimney.
