"This is the second time I've hired DB's Plumbing & Drain and I continue to be very happy with them. This time, there were two problems: A main sump pump that had died and a backup sump pump I had connected with flexible tubing which began springing pinhole leaks within months and spraying water all over the room. DB's swapped the dead pump with a spare I had on-hand and reattached the backup pump to the outflow pipe with standard PVC piping. They also joined both pumps to the main pump's larger outflow pipe with a Y-junction which should improve the backup's rate of flow. While they were at it, they replaced the check valves and disposed of a lot of rusty nails and junk that had been swept into the sump pit over the years. All told it only took 2 hours and now everything is quieter, no water spraying around and I have peace of mind that the place isn't going to flood in the next winter storm."

In the process of installing my new sump pump, back-up sump pump, and sump pump alarm system, it was determined that a new dedicated outlet could not be created due to my existing electrical panel being too small. Thus, I needed to get an electrical panel upgrade. Through JES Foundation, a date and time was arranged to have my new electrical panel upgrade installed. The lead Root electrician Andrew, and his assistant Andy, dd a terrific job installing the new upgraded electric panel. They were both very friendly, efficient, and professional. "Tiny leak in the pipes under the sink, but because a previous plumber had glued everything, I had to cut out and replace the PVC pipes under the kitchen sink to enable the repair. The whole system under the twin sinks was cut out and replaced for $325. Walter did a great job and the boss, Reid, stayed in touch to ensure a job well done. More than I wanted to spend, but at least now I have a brand new system of pipes professionally installed. Highly recommend as timely, customer service focused, and professional high quality work. G**** Miranda did a remarkable job repairing the pipe and an adjacent supply pipe I elected to have repaired in case its joint might leak.
