"The fence itself is great - very high quality and installed perfectly. The installation crew was great; they were quick, responsive, and friendly. That said, the communications in getting the project set up were poor. During our on-site meeting, the estimator appeared to have a clear understanding of the project, and he was very helpful when we met in person. However, several weeks elapsed between the on-site visit and delivery of the written estimate. During that period, the estimator appeared to lose track of details, and made a critical error in the written estimate. As I am not a fencing expert, I did not note that one word on their estimate was incorrect. The problem was apparent once the installation crew showed up with the wrong fence. Normally, this would be a simple fix, with a company acknowleding its error, and proceeding accordingly. However, the managers on the phone were hostile, unhelpful, and more interested in playing hardball than working out a solution. After days of back and forth, I finally just offered an additional $200 to get them to fix their problem and keep the project going. They countered and demanded an additional $250. I read their tactics as petty and self-serving; certainly not customer-focused. Once we settled on a new (higher) figure, the original estimator was -- finally -- extremely communicative, and worked very hard to make sure that the company was installing precisely the fence I had ordered. If the company had made any similar effort to communicate clearly before their first delivery, the whole issue would have been avoided. Given the difficulty I experienced trying to get this company to do the right thing, I would not recommend them to others."

"From the time I started getting quotes from TruBlue fence to the time the project was completed, I had a great experience working with them. Rachel was prompt in following through on quotes and scheduling, Jim was great with helping me understand my options while scoping and Bill & team were easy to work with during the installation. I barely spoke to Bill & team while they were here for 3.5 days to complete the project. They kept me informed, came early in the day and got the job done on schedule. They were also nice enough to humor my requests to make the fencing pet friendly by filling in gaps where the ground wasn't level. I'd recommend them!"

"KC Fence did an amazing job with my project. KC Fence removed a wooden fence that was 35 years old and replaced it with new fencing. From beginning to end, KC Fence did an outstanding job. The estimate that I received was fair and the job was completed on schedule. My new white vinyl picket fence and a welded wire fence were both installed and also completed on schedule. Both fences had gates. A welded wire fence gate is very difficult to construct and KC Fence outperformed my expectations. Both of the new gates are sturdy and attractive. My fencing looks fabulous and I was very pleased with KC Fence's skill and high commitment to customer service. I highly recommend KC Fence."

"When I first met Edwin he was very polite. He promised to follow the explicit details of the project which were to match existing fence. He said he would start in two weeks. When he finally showed up it had been a month. He stayed for a few hours and went home sick after having brought a small amount of disgraceful materials. I mistakenly agreed to pay $300 for these in advance. The wood was cracked, some posts too large and the boards the wrong species. After being instructed not to use a specific post he did so anyway. Then proceeded to make the gate a foot shorter than fence. After he left I noticed the cross bars were pine which he argued and lied over until Angi got involved. To keep job he agreed to get cedar like the original fence. By then I had had enough manipulation and childishness. He insisted on finishing job and I did not want him to. So in fear he would, I had to keep and move the materials he lazily left. If I do not get my $300 back I am glad because the gentleman working for him was very kind and I don’t want Edwin having an excuse not to pay him. Edwin is dishonest, and immature. I do not recommend him! My parents recently passed away and I wanted the project done for my Mother at least by Father’s Day. I am disabled and my puppy who is helping me to survive is not safely contained in my front yard. The Summer is wasted because I cannot empty the garage and get my home ready for a future PCA. Edwin knows not what he did and didn’t do. Do not hire this person and God Bless!"
