Nolan Beery came down to Indianapolis to see the piers first hand - and covered them with their lifetime warranty. I was not the original owner that added the piers... they found the receipt that they did do the work many years ago for a previous owner of my home. "I received 3 estimates for filling the crawlspace with concrete and sealing the perimeter walls with a barrier to keep rodents (field mice) out and the warmth in. Their estimate was in the middle of the pack and after some online research I decided to use them for my project. They fit me in to their schedule and their crew of 4 showed up on time led by Willie. He and his crew were professional and helpful since we didn't know what to expect. They put down protective tarps and began the process. They were in at 8:30 a.m. and out by 1 pm. Fast, efficient and very good. I watched them in the crawl as they prepped the basement, after leveling and pouring in red lava rocks they poured the cement and made it perfectly smooth using a hand trowel to complete the first phase of this job. They quickly removed all debris and when they left for the day the interior of our home was just as clean as when they entered. The second phase of the job is to be completed in 2 weeks when they return to add a wire mesh and apply a 2" layer of closed cell SPF to the walls to seal the crawlspace off from the outside world. "Very well. I was redoing my backyard; landscaping and I needed to have concrete poured in large area of the yard. I submitted an email through Angie's List and they did not call me back right away. So I called them. He was pretty happy I called because he told me he didn't do computers :-) But he came out to my house pretty promptly, provided a quote, I accepted the quote and within days he came out and provided the service. They were very professional and there was an area that he did that was not originally part of the quote that he excavated and concreted and did not charge me for it. The job was complete in hours, 7 or 8 hours and when I got home from work, it was complete and covered because it looked like rain. The next morning he came to uncover and I was pretty pleased with the job!"

"It was great. Of course minor things are uncovered during projects, but Bob is the guy you want to have as a general contractor. Why? He is responsive. He always answers his phone and returns calls. This is huge, and if you’ve ever done a remodel project before you’ll know why. If anything comes up, he’ll make it over to check the issue out - in a couple days, not a couple weeks. He’s timely. He won’t give you an unrealistic timeframe. You’ll know what to expect for a turnaround timeframe, and he won’t disappoint you there. I can tell you from working with other contractors that most almost never get their work done on time - not even close. His team is professional and always keeps a neat work area and cleans up after themselves. He uses skilled laborers to complete all tasks properly, and we have seldom found only minor issues with quality and workmanship in all of our projects over the years. Of course nobody is perfect, but the important thing is that every small issue we have ever found has been quickly addressed and fixed. Bob is also a really nice guy. He has offered to help us out in a pinch when other people certainly wouldn’t. His quotes and terms are reasonable - I really just can’t say enough good things about him. We own a commercial property also, and Bob has helped us address just about every issue that has come up there, in addition to 3 remodeling phases at our rental home. Unfortunately, we are going to be moving out of his work area soon, but we HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing a quality construction contractor. We also live in Chicago and have found plenty of quality contractors in the city, but none as responsive as this guy. He’s the one!"

"We sorely need to replace our busted up asphalt driveway.  A search on this site pointed me to Mendoza Concrete.  <br /> Susan Mendoza, runs the office.  She sounds like the happiest person ever.  I told he what we need and she said she will send him out that day.  <br /> Mr. Mendoza arrived within 2 hours.  He is the type of guy who looks you in the eye and gives you the straight answers. We agreed on a price and he set it all in motion. Within days, weather permitting he and his crew showed up On Monday - 8 AM.  By 5:30 PM, the driveway was poured (12 yards), broomed and sealed.  This crew of hardworking guys were amazing to watch.  They all worked together without talking.  Each knew what needed to be done and jumped on this job like so many ants on a candy bar.  <br /> 7 AM , Tuesday, Mr. Mendoza arrived to make the relief cuts in the concrete.  He and his crew replaced the grass and landscape along the new drive.  They used a power blower, raked and cleaned up the area.  We were left with a most professional looking driveway. <br /> <br />"
