Stanley Steemer
Founded on American ingenuity, Stanley Steemer began as a one-man carpet cleaning business by Jack A. Bates in 1947. Flash forward today, we remain a family-owned business led by the third generation. We’ve proudly expanded across 49 states into a network of nearly 300 locally owned and operated franchises and company-owned locations. Powered by our U.S.-manufactured equipment and technicians trained in-house, we continue to grow through constant innovation and dedication. Discover how our iconic yellow van, catchy jingle, and story grew to be over the last 70 years and counting.
"The employees were friendly. However when calling for air duct cleaning I was told 950.00 and it would take 3-5 hours.. I did inquire how they could charge the same for 3-5 hours .. I was told some take longer. I left it at that.. Stupidly.. I watched them bring in a large vacum and watched 1 person with a wet dry vac on each vent by hand followed by the other guy with the long hose with a very worn very bare brush. In 2 hours they were done. I did ask to see the dirt and maybe was a total of 2 cups . not much for a 50 year old house. The grate on the unit is bent a lot and I don't believe the fan on the unit was cleaned.. I feel very cheated"
