"Troy and the Superior Landscaping crew were FABULOUS from the very first phone call to finish!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I got estimates from multiple places for French Drain install for our backyard that would oversaturate with water (due to design flaw on new build home property) and not only was Superior Landscaping most competitively priced, Troy was totally on the ball with getting the estimate to us right away and even calling to check in with us; whereas it took so long and I had to place multiple calls to get calls returned from other companies! Superior Landscaping is a rare gem when it comes to customer service I was so impressed with how much better Troy and Superior Landscaping was from the rest! "Brian and his crew were absolutely incredible. We just moved into a home in Takoma Park, MD and our front and back yard were in need of some major work. The backyard was a complete jungle. It was extremely overgrown with weeds, brush, poison ivy, and dead/unattractive trees. Brian's crew manually dug out everything and removed all of the dead trees as well as their roots. They also cut back a ton of bamboo and then laid mulch down in the entire yard. Brian and his crew were able to start within days after getting the final quote. Brian is an extremely reasonable, knowledgable, and caring person. In addition to his landscaping knowledge, he is also a "master gardener." We had no clue about what to do next, so he offered to draw out some sketches of designs (free of charge) as well as ideas for plants and flowers that would be suitable for our particular yard. I took this sketch with me to the nursery yesterday and it was very helpful! I would highly recommend using Yard by Yard if you're searching for a landscaping company that you can trust will do a fantastic job!"

Spring being the busy season, lots of landscaping companies are overwhelmed. I contacted Distinct Landscaping, and Kurt the owner emailed me back within two hours. Said he couldn't do the job, but gave me advice on the work, and was extremely professional. I was really impressed that he took the time to respond, where a lot of people would have either ignored it or even worse tried to push me off until it was too late in the season to plant grass or seed. Can't speak to the actual work they do, but professionalism and courtesy go a long way, and if we have another project in the future i will be sure to call Distinct Landscaping again.
