"Scott seemed friendly & knowledgeable, saying that the flat roof on my commercial building looked good & had plenty of life left in it, except for needing repair in a couple of spots & needing to have the air conditioning units drain off the roof. After his repair, the roof still leaked. He said that the only thing that he could think was the AC units were leaking. My HVAC guy of 25 years, who had just tuned the units up a couple of weeks before, said that Scott had removed the traps from the units that were required by the manufacturer & charged me $400 to replace them. Roof still leaks, $400 to where I was before + Scott's charges. Beware!"

Not true, I was hired to repair roof leaks at the rear of the building and I stopped all the leaks. A month later they called me back to repair new leaks way on the other side of the roof but did not want to pay for the additional repairs that were not part of our original agreement so I did not repair them. I don't know about the traps as he states, I installed new drain lines to drain off the roof.

"They responded very promptly with my request. Came the same day and gave a reasonable estimate. The next day the work was done. It appears to be a good job, but as with all roofing, time will tell for certain. THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, FAIRLY PRICED AND APPEARED TO DO A GOOD JOB.."

"I give the Home Doctors 1 star because the job is completed. The process was long, and their service was unprofessional. In addition, they did not communicate with us about additional work that was necessary, and our bill ended up being $1,800 more than the estimate we agreed to."

The roof was estimated to take 1 week to complete upfront. Due to lots of rain and heavy morning dew, it took 3 days longer. We will NOT climb up on a wet roof as steep as yours, nor will we work in the rain or storms. You were at work when we found the rotten wood and we TRIED talking to you the following morning but you ignored us or acted like you did not care and just kept on walking to your car to go to work. Therefore, I sent you 2 emails regarding the additional repairs just so we would have a record of it. We can not leave a roof open in bad weather so we had no option but to repair it. We stated in the estimate the cost of roof decking if it needed to be replaced. I TOLD you about a few bad areas I felt would need the decking replaced UPFRONT before we you agreed to everything and hired us. I guess you can't please everyone. There is always going to be that 1 Karen... Sorry, I meant person.

I am sorry you thought we were complaining, I was actually joking with you about your address numbers. As far as the mess goes, we never leave a mess on any job site. In fact, after my crew cleans up, I personally do a final walk around and double-check the work and make certain that the area is clean before we leave or accept payment. I have no idea what you mean by mess.
