(Another company had previously sent a guy out who was only here for 7 minutes, tried to charge me $150 for doing absolutely nothing, and told me I needed a brand-new unit.) Legacy showed up, actually looked at the AC unit, and was able to repair it. Within a few hours he had our unit up and running again. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment.
