"Bart Holmes is a great guy who really wants to help customers and solve their problems. I had an issue where even though I have a new air handler and compressor they still don't cool down my place enough when it's hot outside. Bart spent almost an hour (58 minutes) on the phone with me asking questions about every aspect of my HVAC system - about my air handler, my condenser unit, where they are, copper lines, how they did the install, about my ducts, weathersealing, had me test a few quick things over the phone, etc - this guy left no stone unturned. I've talked to a number of A/C techs in the past and Bart is the most knowledgable I've ever dealt with. He pointed me in the right direction of what I needed to do to fix my problems. I didn't realize my county is out of Holmes' service area, but Bart knew all along and still spent an hour on the phone with me helping me diagnose my problem and giving me good advice. "These folks are great!  The first couple of years that I had this central AC installed, the main HVAC unit would freeze up and flood the closet and adjacent areas.

"It would be impossible to find a better guy to fix your AC than Ozzy, owner of Ice City AC, Inc. Our AC broke down in 96 degree weather and I never thought my young kids and I would make it through the night. Unbearable heat! The next morning I went on Homeadvisor in hopes of finding someone to help us repair our AC as quickly as possible. I was amazed to receive 7 or 8 return calls within minutes from AC companies offering to send out a technician first to provide us with an estimate of the costs required to make the repairs. "One of the machines is called an air handler. I don't know if that's the one that is outside or inside. We have the big fan that moves the air placed outside and there are 2 big pieces. I found Prestige in our phone book and I just got lucky. Our air-conditioner broke down on a Friday afternoon and even though it was November, it was quite warm here in South Florida. The gentleman came later in the afternoon around 5 o'clock. He measured everything, checked out the old air-conditioner and told us that the motor had burnt out. We wondered what the smoky smell was. He replaced both the outside and the inside pieces. They came out even though it was at the end of their day to see if they could fix it to make it last through the weekend. Of course they couldn't with the motor being burnt up. They measured everything square footage to the house and let us know what was available that they had that they could bring out the next Monday. They gave us the Florida break. It was like a rebate, the max p&l, for putting in a new A/C. He made sure we had the paperwork for that and gave it to us right on the billing. A crew of people came the next Monday and took all the old stuff out and put in the new stuff. They completed the work in 2 hours and we had A/C."
