"Bart Holmes is a great guy who really wants to help customers and solve their problems. I had an issue where even though I have a new air handler and compressor they still don't cool down my place enough when it's hot outside. Bart spent almost an hour (58 minutes) on the phone with me asking questions about every aspect of my HVAC system - about my air handler, my condenser unit, where they are, copper lines, how they did the install, about my ducts, weathersealing, had me test a few quick things over the phone, etc - this guy left no stone unturned. I've talked to a number of A/C techs in the past and Bart is the most knowledgable I've ever dealt with. He pointed me in the right direction of what I needed to do to fix my problems. I didn't realize my county is out of Holmes' service area, but Bart knew all along and still spent an hour on the phone with me helping me diagnose my problem and giving me good advice. "After getting quotes from a few companies for a new A/C systemI decided to go with Weathershield.  Their price was very fair and they were very professional.  Air conditioning works great. When the A/C went in an condo I own I called them. They did me a big favor and did the work up in Palm Beach county which is an area they do not usually service.  Again, everything went perfectly.  The A/C works great. The office manager Christine is a total sweetie and so helpful. Just called them to clean our dryer vent, so happy they provide that service, I wouldn't trust anyone else.... Thanks guys!

"I am so impressed at 4pm I was looking for someone to fix our air conditioning that my mom is sick and has been in the house getting very irritated and has had a really hard time with the rain and the windows closed. THE A/C SERVICE & MORE company called me the manager her name is Eda she was amazing empathetic to our situation unprofessional to help me get the job done quickly she said to not worry we will be out there today knowing my situation they came out within the hour in the rainy weather and not charge me for after hours and fixed my air conditioning and by 5:30 pm the house was cooling and Jose the techenial was friendly and very professional. "Great, same day, super efficient. Another company that was first to call me tried to up-sell me on replacing the entire a/c unit instead of topping up the Freon per my request. I said I know things about air conditioning since I am a senior citizen and my systemâ s history, so I was expecting to just get an annual pressure test, routine stuff. So that first guy didnâ t get my business because he failed to respect my preferences and judgement and saying stuff like â R22 is so expensive and itâ s better to change out the unitâ , not realizing I know there are at least four drop-in replacements for R22 today. After that weird phone call, Iâ m glad to have instead used Freezing Pointâ s guy who even with no English ability took care of the job, climbing up on my roof with the refrigerant tank and gauges. I will probably use him again next year for the same service call on my 25 yo. central a/c."

"One of the machines is called an air handler. I don't know if that's the one that is outside or inside. We have the big fan that moves the air placed outside and there are 2 big pieces. I found Prestige in our phone book and I just got lucky. Our air-conditioner broke down on a Friday afternoon and even though it was November, it was quite warm here in South Florida. The gentleman came later in the afternoon around 5 o'clock. He measured everything, checked out the old air-conditioner and told us that the motor had burnt out. We wondered what the smoky smell was. He replaced both the outside and the inside pieces. They came out even though it was at the end of their day to see if they could fix it to make it last through the weekend. Of course they couldn't with the motor being burnt up. They measured everything square footage to the house and let us know what was available that they had that they could bring out the next Monday. They gave us the Florida break. It was like a rebate, the max p&l, for putting in a new A/C. He made sure we had the paperwork for that and gave it to us right on the billing. A crew of people came the next Monday and took all the old stuff out and put in the new stuff. They completed the work in 2 hours and we had A/C."
