And when they saw I wanted to scrub the floor under the old furnace before the new one was installed, they even took it upon themselves to thoroughly scrub the area outside where the new air conditioner was installed without me asking. Monte came up with a solution that did not involve cutting into the siding to replace the flap. Works great--no more cold air flowing into the basement!
