"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. "Angie's List reviews made me go with GAC Services for a new furnace and air conditioning unit. Five mechanics showed up early in the morning in three trucks. They were clean cut young men and very polite. They made a lay down area in my basement with blankets. They wore covers over there shoes while in and out of the house. They were very respectful of my home. They worked non stop until 5:00 PM. They had a separate sheet metal mechanic that showed up and did really nice sheet metal work. I was impressed. After a year went by my thermostat went out and they came out and replaced it free of charge. I signed up for the maintenance contract and they come out twice a year . Once in the winter and once in the summer. Another part went bad after two years and it was under warranty and they replaced it free of charge. They are honest and reliable. I highly recommend them."

It was Friday afternoon and we both agreed the issue was non-urgent so we scheduled an early Monday morning visit. He showed up at 8a sharp as we agreed and he did a thorough check of our AC system.
