"We came home from an outing on a Sunday night and found our air conditioner not working. I found John Mullen on Angie's list and liked the reviews. I contacted John and he asked me about my schedule on Monday. He fit us in on Monday morning. I wasn't home but my wife was. She said that John was so nice that she assumed that he was a friend of mine. I told her that I never met him before. He fixed the air conditioner and I am relieved that it didn't cost us a ton and we avoided 85 degree heat with an air conditioner. I would use John again. He was dependable, came out with in 12 hours of being called, and my wife does not always comment on how nice someone is unless it is absolutely true. "I met with 2 or 3 reputable companies in addition to Wade prior to selecting Carrier and Wade for the job. The choice was an easy one. It began with Lonnie, Wade's sales rep. There was no pressure or hype with Lonnie. His communication skills are excellent. Over the course of our discussions, Lonnie prepared several revised proposals at my request as I honed in on what I wanted. Unlike any of the other bidders, Lonnie's proposals were very detailed with costs broken out for various components of the job. I knew exactly what I was buying, both in terms of equipment and services. Lonnie worked with me to reach a fair price. At my request, Lonnie coordinated directly with Air Duct Maintenance so the ducts were cleaned the day prior to the removal of the old furnace and installation of the new. The actual installation was done by Wade installer Ryan, with assistance from Dillon. You will not find a more professional or competent installer than Ryan. During the 2 days that he and Dillon were here, I happened to be working on a project on the same floor as the furnace. In those 2 days, I actually can't recall Ryan ever having a conversation about any topic other than my installation. He was laser focused on my installation. As part of his job, Dillon installed a new pad for the AC compressor. Every aspect of the job was done carefully and neatly. Following the installation, Ryan walked me through use of the new thermostat. He took his time, did not rush me through it and made sure I was satisfied. Finally, every one I have spoken with over the phone at Wade HQ has been friendly, accommodating and followed through when they said they would. If you are replacing your heating and cooling system, I would encourage you to consider Wade H&C. I'm glad I did."

"The owner of North Pittsburgh Heating & Cooling came to our house on a Sunday to service our central air conditioning system that was not cooling our house. He said he would not charge us a premium price for a Sunday service call. Upon seeing that our central air conditioner was over 14 years old and used obsolete refrigerant he recommended that we replace and upgrade it with a new system that is compatible with our existing furnace. He gave us a reasonable quote to replace our ac and completed the project the following week. I now have a new working a/c with up to date refrigerant that has a 5 year guarantee on parts and labor and a 10 year guarantee on parts. North Pittsburgh also relocated the condensing unit to the side of our house, corrected the combustion air pipe to our furnace and installed a new outdoor hose faucet."

Sullivan's technician, Bob Anderson, was polite, professional and experienced. We greatly appreciated his knowledge and counsel. Our AC has been out for a few days in a current hot spell, and Sullivan was the only company that contacted us. They proved the old saying that in winning, half of the battle is just in showing up and being there. We were not Sullivan customers before, but we are now! Sullivan's service was SUPER!"

"Within 5 minutes told me I needed 2 wires replaced on my AC and it would cost $175. I then asked to see the wires and told him my husband could replace them and I would just pay service charge. He became intense telling me t hat if he had to come back he would have to charge me mileage because he did not realize how far it was and then stated Home Advisor should not of given him the lead because of the distance. My husband replaced the wires and when he did the compressor blew up!!!!!! Bought a new air conditioner from someone not on the Home Advisor list."
