"While having our air ducts cleaned, mildew was discovered on the inside the supply plenum on our A/C unit in the attic (possibly from all the moisture Harvey dumped on us for days). Although the unit was only four years old, we decided it was best to replace it before it got worse. To hopefully avoid this type of problem in the future, we wanted to install some form of UV light in the plenum after it's replacement, but we were very concerned about the ozone that's released into the home's air from some of these types of lights. Matthew from Air Specialist listened and addressed all of our concerns about UV lights, and gave us information about each type on the market and which ones would address our concerns. After research, we decided on one of the Lennox UV lights and Matthew installed it for us. So far we've had no problems with this UV light, and we continue to be happy with Air Specialist's work."

"Great! I have three AC Units on my house, all were 11+ years old. I had issues with one early in the summer, then came home to find that a second one had gone kaput. I had conversations with three different providers, and ultimately I chose to go with Punbar to replace all three units. Ronald answered all my questions, made some good suggestions, and during all our conversations never pressured me to make one choice or another. He was matter of fact and honest about the limitations what we could do to improve the circulation in the house. His team was able to replace all three units in one day (albeit a long day!) and the were neat, tidy, cleaned up and picked up well, including when one of the workers accidentally put his foot through the ceiling. While they had to come back to repair the ceiling, again, it was done very well and the drywall person cleaned up the work area very well. The pricing was good, (of the the three quotes I had, Punbar was the middle price) and they worked to get all the rebates possible at the time, further reducing my cost. I would highly recommend them."

I got that unit replaced today, and again, they did a great job. They came in, laid cloth out on their work paths and got down to business. It took them 6 hours to replace my outside AC unit + the coil unit in the attic. They swept up their work debris, and double checked the work, which I personally inspected. I highly recommend these guys just because of professionalism alone, the fair price I paid because they are a low overhead unit is hard to match in Houston for the same, or even better quality work.
