"Mr. Duct answered my call for service and was able to schedule within a few days at a time that was most convenient for my schedule. They were very open about the scope of the job and the pricing and I was more than satisfied with the quote for the work. The service technician, Mario, did an excellent job. He worked especially **** ** the second floor ducts which were just filled with construction dust and dirt! He arrived on time, was very careful as he worked, and was not the least bit fazed by the condition of those ducts! He just got to work and made them shine! I appreciated that he took pictures and shared the before and after so I could see what needed to be done. He also cleaned out the dryer vent and the outside air conditioning condensers - all with a smile and a wonderful attitude. Mario clearly had a strong work ethic and kept me informed about the progress as he moved floor to floor. I will be scheduling a cleaning next year, likely in September, and will request that Mario return to do the job. The house just feels and smells so much cleaner and fresh! "Tim Miller responded to my request for a bid on a new air
conditioner the very next day. He spent a considerable amount of time reviewing
my current heating and air conditioning system prior to putting together a
proposal, providing thorough explanations for the existing design and that it
was well done with one exception. The furnace had been replaced by another HVAC
company twelve years ago and they sold and installed an efficient 2-stage unit
but never enabled its 2-stage operation. Tim included correcting this issue in
his proposal.
I also explained the symptoms of the current system problem
and he suggested that the problem be diagnosed and corrected prior to
installation of a new air conditioner.
I received two proposals for the air conditioner replacement.
TRM's was considerably lower for equivalent units (American Standard versus
Lennox) and work. Once I informed Tim of my decision to go with his proposal,
he had a service man out the next business day to diagnose and resolve the
problem. Diagnosis turned out to be a little tricky and it required multiple
part orders and visits but in each case, Tim's service person kept me up to
date on the order status and immediately scheduled the service visit once the
parts were available. Tim's service person was friendly, prompt, and
informative. Tim also waived the labor cost for the diagnoses and repair given
that I had accepted his proposal to replace the air conditioner - you don't see
concessions like this very often.
With the furnace issue resolved, the air conditioner
installation proceeded and once again, Tim's people were excellent. They called
ahead to let me know their arrival time which was within the two hour scheduled
time, they were friendly and very informative. The installation was done very
well and was completed within the estimated time frame.
The bottom line is that TR Miller has a very professional and courteous
staff with years of experience. They did great work and I would highly
recommend them. I'll certainly be using TRM for my future HVAC needs.

"My loft above my garage was humid and a bit uncomfortable from what I was expecting. I’ve watched enough home repair shows and understand air flow enough to know it would never be perfect, but something was off because of the humidity issues. Mike came in and did an inspection, confirming that there was a lot of room for improvement in the garage ceiling. The heat camera was showing that there was a lot of heat transfer happening in the loft, foot prints (from boots) leaving heat transfer marks which is unusual and recommended dense insulation pack to fill the void. I sat on it for a few weeks, called and scheduled for the 17th, but got in early due to an opening. It took several hours to complete the work, and the folks said it had 5” bat insulation but a 17” void, which confirmed Mike’s original thought that there was a gap between the insulation and the loft floor which was carrying the heat from the outside into the floor."
