We needed a huge job done, because we switched from all electrical to adding gas to our house along with a furnace, water heater, air conditioner, and all new ductwork. We had multiple obstacles that most people did not want to take on. Porterhouse helped us come up with solutions and were very reasonable. They were extremely hard working and did a great job with our house. We love our new heating and air systems! We also have a new thermostat that is wonderful. I needed service in Sept 2018 and had various coupon prices of $39 and $49 for an A/C tune up and was about to chose on of them but decided to check Angie's list for a review or google for the coupon companies. For some reason, I decided to use this company even tho the cost was a bit more money and boy am I ever happy that I went with my hunch. Sometimes it is NOT always about the money. I was really looking for an A/C furnace company that I could count on and use regularly. Not only was the repair gentleman that came out, on time and very thorough and professional but he spent a long time and I feel that I received the most thorough tune up that I have ever had. Josh, the service tech was just a delight and the best part was that this company has a membership contract that I was able to purchase. It is a small monthly charge monthly and . I get 2 free tune-ups a year included in the monthly fee for NO charge and if I need any service work I get 20% off of the charge and same day service...all for only $12.95 a month. What a wonderful idea and I cannot express how happy I am with this choice. It is a win-win deal for me and the company. I am a very happy camper with my choice of this company."

"I could not get my furnace to start, so I hired United Heating and Air Conditioning. They were able to get it started with no problem. I have no problems with the service they provided that day. While checking to make sure everything was working properly after starting the furnace, the technician informed me that my air conditioning was not working and that, once it got warmer, they would need to come back out to add freon. They asked me if I wanted to make the appointment for a month or so later and I said that I would call when I needed them to come back. I thought the air conditioner diagnosis was odd because it is only a year or two old. Well, hot weather has officially rolled around and the air conditioner is working 100% fine. Now, I am just left feeling that the company was trying to take advantage of me being a new homeowner and not knowing much about HVAC."

"We were having issues with our current furnace and decided to purchase new equipment versus putting repair money into an obsolete one. Due to the unreliability of the old unit, we wanted the new furnace/AC installed before we went on vacation.  They arrived on time, and completed the work in the time frame promised. All the work was done to the highest quality, and exactly as promised. This work was done on a cold day, and with over a foot of snow around the house, including around the old air conditioner. With the cold temps, we were very happy the total job was done in about 6 hours. The equipment is working extremely well. TR Miller took away all the old equipment, and did a good job of explaining the operation of the new furnace, thermostat, humidifier, and air cleaner. I would highly recommend this company for any heating and cooling work.
