"Home Systems Appliance Repair did an excellent repair on my 18 year old panel-ready 42 inch Built-In counter depth GE Profile Refrigerator. The original GE tech who looked at the leak in the freezer evaporator a year ago, told me the refrigerator was non repairable because the "vacuum pump" retrofit part it needed was no longer available. After paying his $200 visit fee for a 2 minute consultation, he offered me a discount on a new GE refrigerator to fit which had not been built yet. Fast forward to now, GE does have 42 inch built-in counter depth Monogram side-by-side for $12,000 and $2,000 of Kraftmaid panels. Home Systems Appliance Repair cost me $400 to identify and fix a broken heat transfer tab in the freezer evaporator unit. I saved $15,000 - - not bad for paying Appliance Repair for a 2 hour job. They seriously looked and found the problem. I highly recommend Manny (the tech who did the work), and Home Systems Appliance Repair. Susan"

"Robert has a wealth of knowledge regarding small and large appliances. He has kept my aged side-by-side Subzero running for years. Robert thoroughly explains what has caused the need for his service and whether it's best to repair or replace the appliance. I was very enthused to learn he made the decision to establish his business, and highly recommend calling for your appliance repairs."

Small jobs welcome

"We had 3 appliances (washer, dryer and dishwasher) to be disconnected, moved and reconnected at another property nearby. The work crew was very professional and got right to work but were also careful of the floors and walls when moving and cleaned up as they worked. I would definitely consider them again for future prijects as well as recommend them to others."

FAQs for appliance service projects in Glyndon, MD

Licensed appliance installation experts install gas appliances safely and correctly. They have specialized training for installing ranges, cooktops, and gas-powered dryers, ensuring code-compliant setups that will keep you and your family members safe when using your gas appliances. Licensed HVAC specialists and plumbers handle gas lines, secure connections, and verify that installations meet safety standards.

Yes, buying appliances in a bundle can save you money and reduce the cost per unit. Retailers often offer discounts when you purchase three or more appliances from the same brand together. This approach not only lowers your appliance expenses but also simplifies installation coordination, providing financial and scheduling benefits.

The best time to buy a new appliance is when your current one fails or during a renovation. Major shopping holidays like Black Friday and Labor Day offer seasonal sales with better discounts. Planning your purchase during these times helps you maximize savings and aligns with your home improvement plans.

When you buy a new appliance, many retailers will also remove and dispose of your old appliances when they come to install the new ones. To dispose of your old appliance yourself, start by safely disconnecting it. If it's no longer functional, you can recycle it. If it still operates safely, consider donating or selling it to recoup some value. Some retailers offer trade-in programs for discounts on new models. These options promote eco-friendly disposal and help reduce waste.
