"It is always painful to have an appliance breakdown. My dryer broke down when I had 4 loads of wet clothes on standby. I placed a service request late on a Sunday afternoon. In less than 2 hours Mr. Lachter called me to set up an appointment to repair the dryer. He was friendly, reasonably priced and knowledgeable. "Saturday morning our dryer lost all its heat. So I posted the job on Angi's list that same morning, figuring we wouldn't get anybody till Monday at the earliest. Five minutes after posting the job, I get a call from Rick from City Appliance Repairs saying he could come out in the afternoon to work on the dryer. He shows up around 5 p.m. and in about 25 minutes our dryer was working like the day we bought it. VERY reasonable charge, with NO upcharge for a weekend visit. I recommend Rick to everybody."
