"Mr Bill Leacy was very professional, courteous, and punctual. In his first call, he requested a snapshot of the disabled water heater. Then he explained what the project entails, the brand of the water heater he was going to install with warranty information etc; he arrived at our doors with the replacement water heater in less than 2 hours after his first call. Completed the project in less than 3 hours after he showed up and left the place tidy and clean. We were extremely pleased with the speed and the quality of work that Bill did."

"Daniel was absolutely a professional all the way! He returned calls and called back when needed, perfectly on time. He showed up for the assignment on time to the minute. I asked if I could get them ANYTHING at all, several times, if they needed help hauling supplies, anything and they said no thank you every time. They had it covered themselves completely, every step of the way they were self sufficient. I would have left them alone in my house-that's how I felt with them. They did a spectacular job, DETAIL ORIENTED and that's mandatory for me ;) They took their time to do it right, clean up after themselves and put everything possible back where it was in under 4 hours. They guesstimated 3-5 hours so they were dead on. I had the chance to have some conversations with Daniel before the assignment, during it and after it and I've come to really like his work, professional ethics and personality: from how he considers referrals of another other type, to not being afraid to explain the technical use of his supplies to me ( "a chick" ), to enjoying my children being around. I liked his explanation of his services and supplies in particular, I learned a lot about the appropriateness of his prices that 'seemed' to be a bit higher than other suppliers; until you find out you're not really comparing apples to apples. I would 100% recommend them to ANYONE. Thank you Daniel!!!!!!"

"Our 14 year old SubZero would not cool below 50 degrees and an ice patch was forming along the back wall. We called Accurate Appliances first. They vacuumed its coils and told us that if this didn't do the job, we needed to call SubZero directly since they did not do major repairs. SubZero referred us to GA Service and High End Appliances for factory-trained servicing and parts. Neither provides emergency service. GA was booked but High End, comes twice a week to our area in Brooklyn, was able to come the following Tuesday.
We effectively had to clear our entire day for the appointment. High End calls you the day before to say that they will let you know the next morning when they will be coming that day -- between 1-4 pm in our case. Arthur and George arrived at 3:30 with a good idea of what the problem was, having asked a lot of questions in advance. They had the parts needed, were professional, efficient, and good about explaining what they were doing. And they were patient, allowing us a little time to clean the shelves before returning them to the unit.
SubZero repairs are very expensive, consistent with their high retail price. Our unit has done a good job for us for 14 years with only a few minor repairs. So this says something about their quality. We don't know if this repair has fixed the problem. But High End gave us a one year warranty on labor and parts. Our experience today suggests that they stand behind their work."

Yes, buying appliances in a bundle can save you money and reduce the cost per unit. Retailers often offer discounts when you purchase three or more appliances from the same brand together. This approach not only lowers your appliance expenses but also simplifies installation coordination, providing financial and scheduling benefits.
The best time to buy a new appliance is when your current one fails or during a renovation. Major shopping holidays like Black Friday and Labor Day offer seasonal sales with better discounts. Planning your purchase during these times helps you maximize savings and aligns with your home improvement plans.
When you buy a new appliance, many retailers will also remove and dispose of your old appliances when they come to install the new ones. To dispose of your old appliance yourself, start by safely disconnecting it. If it's no longer functional, you can recycle it. If it still operates safely, consider donating or selling it to recoup some value. Some retailers offer trade-in programs for discounts on new models. These options promote eco-friendly disposal and help reduce waste.
