Colin knows what he is doing! He and his employees worked hard to make our yard look fantastic. We had an issue where one of the employees did do some damage to our AC unit. I called Colin and he took responsibility and made things right. I purposely waited a year to write this review because I wanted to see how our investment would turn out and it really looks beautiful. Colin and his secretary were communicative and delivered on their promised. The issue we had was handled in a timely fashion acted in a manner which made me want to hire him again. I really appreciate his insight, his hard work and the improvement his work made on the look of our yard.... literally a night and day difference.

"They were very easy to work with.  They drove stakes along two sides of the property at the locations I requested to establish a line for fencing and landscaping.  They thoroughly explained what they were doing and how they were doing it.  The neighbors arrived as they were finishing.  The survey revealed that the property extended as much as ten feet onto the property that the neighbors believed to be theirs.  Ray spent twenty or thirty minutes patiently explaining the survey process, the authority a surveyor has to make these determinations and what recourse the neighbors had if they disagreed with the findings.  We were very appreciative of his willingness to take the time to talk with them about the survey.  It took about four weeks to receive the written report on the survey.

"Ty and Tiffany were the most professional, upfront, honest people I've ever dealt with! I used Angie's list to find the best auto detailing business because I'd let my van literally go to pieces on the inside, and I didn't even know where to start in terms of cleaning it. In fact, I didn't know if anyone or any company would be able to do much at all with the interior, I'm ashamed to say. However, I wanted to try. 1st Class had an "A" rating on Angie's list, and the comments were just glowing, so I went with this company. I wanted a "show room" fresh start for my van, and what I received was even better ---the interior of my van looked as if it had just rolled off the assembly line with brand new parts! "Fantastic job!  I would hire them again.   The office kept in touch with me to let me know when they'd be out  (jobs like this I expected to run a bit behind the given time because once you have a crew like this at your house, you always find a couple more things you want them to do while they're there and that's expands the time.  But, that's OK, as long as the office let's me know what's happening.  I myself found a couple "extra" tasks I wanted done, too.)
They went straight to work and didn't waste any time.  And, WOW, did they clean up after themselves!!  I was impressed.  They raked, shoveled, and got the area looking as good as they could.  They even took the blower to the street to make sure it was clean of any twigs, wood chips, leaves, etc..  I don't see how they could have done a better job, they were that good!  ( and they were about $250 under the lowest estimate I received - great value, great work-great price)

"This is by far the most professional company I have ever dealt with...and we have had a lot of work done to our houses over the years.  Everyone is very friendly, very available and pay such close attention to detail.  I am very OCD about things in my house and so are they!  They worked really hard to get everything level and perfect.  Their architect had great ideas and helped us a lot along the way.  The hardscape team always cleaned up after themselves every day and everyone really seemed to care about what we wanted and how we thought things were going.  I just can't say enough good things about them.  We did get a price from 2 other landscape companies and they were right in line with everyone else. Super happy with our new patio, firepit and grill!

"Over a period of a couple of days the Earthwood Arts crew did spring cleanup on the yard, mulched, trimmed lawn edges.  It looks fantastic, and my neighbors continue to make favorable comments.
This is the 4th year that we have worked with Earthwood Arts, and each year they build on what they've done the year before.  They take a definite pride in their work, which is consistently excellent.  And their cleanup is impeccable.
The crew is always friendly and professional, and they all listen intently to comments and questions.  It is a pleasure to work with them.

I called Charles on a Friday afternoon and he suggested Sunday as a good day for him to come round and assess the work.  Charles called around noon on Saturday and asked if he could come that afternoon.   Heck yes!   An appointment was set for today to carry out the work and a time frame of 8am - 9.30 am suggested for the start.   They arrived at 9 am.   The original request was just for the drainage work (cost $350) but my husband called in the meantime and asked them to look at the other two jobs.  

Both Charles and his helper are very personable.   All spaces they worked in were left clean and tidy.   All "trash" was bagged or placed where I requested.

I would not hesitate to call this company again for any job .. large or small. 

Update:   Charles "et all" came back and removed a window and the siding surrounding it.   He then reframed the area and replaced the window and siding.   He will be returning to replace the drywall.   Once again he did exactly what we requested both efficiently and in a timely manner.   We have been very pleased both with the standard of work and also his efforts to keep costs within reason.
