They were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Form the start, the process was smooth and efficient. The craftmanship of my remodel kitchen and attention to detail were exceptional, and the end result far exceeded my expectations. From the design phase top completion, their communication was excellent, and I felt completely at ease with them working in my home. The design solutions completely transformed my kitchen, making it both functional and beautiful. "They came in and clearly gave me an evolution of my situation. They advised I would be okay, and if I wanted I could do the minor self repair myself to the foundation and what materials to use. I am going to hire them to knock down a load bearing wall. Those guys are awesome."

"Excellent Architect We hired SSA, Inc. for the exterior and interior remodel of our Autobody shop building. It is a challenging project since the building was never upgraded to be current code compliant. There are existing items to be legalized as well. Sharmila, Owner/Principal Architect is very knowledgable, experienced and familiar with city process, current building and fire codes. She is very personable, creative and suggested solutions and design that are both effecient for our setup as well as acceptable by the City. She and her competent, effecient team of engineers delivered design plans, renderings, drawing sets in a fast paced timeline so we do not have lags in our operations. SSA, Inc and team have expereince working with the building departments in all cities in the bay area. They communicate promptly and effectively with plan checkers and building officials. She is a fantastic architect who always works for the best outcome for her client. We are very thankful to have hired her and highly recommend her companys services for your remodel, addition or new construction project."

"Very professional, on time no problem. Joy to work with such competent architect"

"We hired Shay to correctly vault our home’s ceilings after they were unsafely vaulted years earlier by a licensed general contractor. Shay, their construction manager, gave us a typed, 17 page contract on the SAME DAY that he came to give us an estimate (!) The contract was highly specific, with detailed scope of work, and contained many protections for the homeowner, several which we referred to during the project. Their bid wasn’t the lowest, nor was it the highest — two came in at double and triple Shay’s estimate, one at 30% less. We were inspired by Shay’s rapidly produced and detailed contract — along with the excellent references that they gave us — to go with them, and we’re very glad that we did. They started a month AHEAD of schedule, and had reasonable progress payments as the project continued. Every step of the way their work was on time and professional, and their change orders were always necessary and reasonable. They followed the architectural and structural plans in great detail, worked well with our structural engineer, and in several instances saved us from having to rip out parts of our floor and a kitchen window through their effective negotiations with the planning office. All building inspections were passed with no difficulties, and the site was cleaned up immaculately upon completion of the project."
