We had previously consulted with multiple architects who were unable to give us a clear answer, but Mina was able to quickly and confidently determine that the wall was not load-bearing. He provided a detailed report for the township and was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Mina took the time to thoroughly explain everything to my husband, who is removing the wall himself. "Don't let Contractors take advantage of you, and hire an independent professional engineer. We did have several cracks around the house including the foundations walls, interior walls and ceilings. We hired many contractors for estimates for the repairs, we did have huge difference in quoted starting from $7K to $35K, then we hired an independent engineer to do a full structural assessment. We hired Kiro Engineering to do the structural assessment. They have three options for the assessment. We chose the highest option with a full assessment and structural integrity for the entire house. The report was very detailed with photos, observations, and recommendations. We like the way it was organized. The report was simple to read and understand for a "layman" who is not a professional contractor. This report gave us the right cost estimate. We almost saved $25K."

"BelMax did several projects for me including two major projects; (1) remodeling a basement bathroom with the addition of a shower and adding a second-floor addition to the house which became a walk-in closet. BelMax worked with an architect to get a solid design, pulled the permits, completed the work, and got the work approved. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. Throughout the job, the crew wore masks and shoe coverings when they worked inside, which I appreciated. They were also very clear about what was budgeted for each minor project so that later when we changed some of the requirements, we were able to work together to figure out the change in cost. Please note that some of the changes in scope were required. For example, after prior to the work stating, the architect said that we had to add another bedroom window to the house to meet city code. I recommend them and would consider them for work at my house in the future."
