"Ryan gave us an estimate that seemed fair for the work being done. He recommended a bank that may give us a loan. After we selected him as our GC, he started getting permits and work lined up. We ran into a several issues right off the bat (none of them were Norman Builders fault, one engineering, and others due to the town inspector) which caused the price to go up rather quickly (along with the quantity of work). Many of these issues were unforeseen but came up and Ryan dealt with them in a timely fashion. Norman Builders took on the project and started it right before a horrible winter, during the winter, we ran out of oil for the furnace, water leaked into the first floor, some exterior damage occurred. We stayed on Ryan and he stayed on his contractors to get the work done when it was supposed to be done. He took on the project when no one else would and was of reasonable cost. He made many extra efforts to smooth over any damage to the house.  My only suggestions to Norman Builders would be to try to get to the work site a little more and have provide a little more guidance for the subs. Also provide an allotment for electrical fixtures (for the sole reason of budgeting) and if the homeowner goes over its obviously on them.  Overall though I would still recommend him to others, he was always great about returning phone calls, emails, or texts.

"After purchasing our home, we needed to install additional lally columns in our basement as the main beam was being held up by temporary jacks. Unfortunately, as new home owners and not understanding the level of work necessary, we hired a handyman to do the work. The result was work that was not to code and had to be redone. Initial assessment was done in the Fall 2018. Bill came on time and evaluated the site. I had already provided a stamped engineering drawing on the work, which simplified the work great. Work was scheduled for late January, early February. Bill was in continuous communication as the start time changed due to a prior project going over. Work started mid February and took about 2 weeks. The crew was prompt and professional every day. It was obvious they look at our house as if it was their own. Work was completed on time and without any issues. I would strongly recommend Perry Brothers and will look to them for future projects."

"Contacted me promptly and came to my home to gather info. Had hand-sketched drawings with engineering stamp 2 days later. Affordable price."

"He knows engineering. I would recommend him."

"Khaled and his crew built a large 2-story garage for us and it came out wonderful. Khaled managed multiple sub-contractors, engineers, and the town's building department. The build did not always go according to plan and it did end up taking longer than anticipated, but that is to be expected with construction projects - especially in this worker & supply-limited climate. Despite delays and setbacks, Khaled always has his customer's interest at heart, and will make sure that the work is done well. I would recommend Abalia Construction and will use them again in the future."
