"Salesman was professional and informative, installers were prompt but did not look at the measurements before coming to install the awning, so they arrived with the wrong size brackets.  I had to wait an additional week for installation and was only offered a bbq set (which I initially declined since I don't bbq) as compensation for my inconvenience. Once the correct brackets were in hand the installers came and were quick and efficient with the installl.

"Friday evening while retracting my Marygrove awning the retracting mechanism failed. I had purchase this awning from the Marygrove Awnings store at 4617 N. Shepard in Houston. It was installed in December 2010. Monday morning I call the store and the receptionist said she would give my message to the Store Manager when he arrived. 2 hours later, Mr. Mike Mehler called me and say that he would be coming back that day as he would be passing by my house on the way to another job. Mr. Mehler came by, figured what part was broken and returned the next day with the part, repairing the unit. Unit was still under warranty. He also took time to explain the working of the awning and provided some tips that would benefit the life cycle of the awning.
Mr. Mehler is very positive person and knows his product very well. It was a pleasure to be around someone who loves his job and his company.

"Eric's Handyman Service rebuilt a gate and part of my fence this week. Eric's bid on this work was very reasonable. His work was great and I was very pleased with it. Eric's work ethic was so impressive and I would recommend him to everybody I know."

"Worked with allied twice on two separate background projects! We did an outdoor kitchen and patio extension and then a follow-up project adding. They were professional and helpful. The 3D render really helped us to visualize before we committed. They used quality local people as well! Definitely recommend!"

"Victor did an excellent job making my wife's swings look brand new again. He worked all day long. The price was very reasonable and the best I found. Very happy customer."

I owned a construction company for 32 years and I retired a couple of years ago and I have done all the repairs around my house and got kinda board so I have started doing handyman jobs and I can do just about anything that has to do with construction. Remodeling and new construction . I have a fairly new Ford f-250 and a 16 ft trailer for carrying materials for jobs if needed. I take pride in the work that I do and strive to do a professional job.
