"Abraham Cates is an outstanding carpenter. He will always be my first call for my home improvement needs."

"Excellent job, I will be using them to also paint and put flooring in the bedrooms.."

"We have used this business for numerous projects. They always deliver excellent work and are very flexible with some of our creative carpentry ideas. So far we have custom bookcases in three separate spaces, boot box, an old farmhouse staircase redo and we are hoping to do a full kitchen in the near future."

"Very professional and a thorough job for a fair price. Would hire him again -- highly recommend."

"We had a pretty big project, removing an old camp roof and building a new roof rotated 90 degrees, and adding a loft area. We were very happy with Andrew and his crew. They really go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right - they don't cut corners and take pride in their work. They installed new windows in the front and even used Windex to wipe off their finger smudges! Price was very good, and they're good, honest guys to work with. Very pleased!"

"Very pleased with this contractor. He gave me a fair estimate and stuck to it. He was also professional and showed up when he said he would. The job he did was more than satisfactory and I have no complaints."

"We feel very fortunate to have found Brain Martin to do our kitchen installation in our 1848, home in Portland. He is a highly skilled woodworker/ craftsman. Brian went above and beyond to address a number of challenging issues which were the result of working in an older home and this writer ordering incorrect sized cabinets. Do not be fooled by his relaxed, easy going nature- he is an experienced, competent professional. Pricing was very reasonable. You are in excellent hands with Brian."

"Patrick did an excellent job with my stairs, took the time and care to make it just right. I would recommend him for any carpentry needs!"

"The New Story Carpentry team is an honest, knowledgable, and talented group that delivers very high quality work. Highly recommend! We hired NSC on a new construction build to manage a whole slew of interior framing and detail carpentry work. They jumped right in without missing a beat and adapted seamlessly when we asked them to increase their scope. Their pricing was fair, they were super reliable, and end result was great."

"On time and quick - quality work and roof looks great! Very reasonable pricing"
