"In July of 2022, Gorman Restoration and Remodeling restored the original exterior front door on my 1940 English Tudor home. The door poses a challenge due to the rounded top. Most places I called wouldn't even consider restoring the door. Lucky Gorman had one of his carpenters replace the peeling wood veneer, then add a stain and top coat of polyurethane. It turned out beautiful. Unfortunately, less than a year later, the veneer began to peel. Not necessarily a reflection on the excellent work completed by the carpenter, but rather due to extreme sunlight damage. I contacted Lucky in March of this year and told him what had happened. He worked diligently to find a carpenter who could come up with a permanent solution to the problem. And this past Thursday his carpenter, Norbert, removed the veneer, stripped off all the glue and residue, stained and sealed the door. It looks better than it did before. And best of all, he honored the 1 year warranty. There aren't many companies that would do this. Lucky is an honest and honorable contractor and I would definitely hire his company for future work as well as recommend him to my friends and family."
