Get matched with top carpenters in Lakeview, IL

"Mike installed some crown molding that we had purchased from someone who was remodeling their approx. 100-year old house that matched very closely to the molding we already had in other rooms in our house (also around 100-years old). Mike did an incredible job - it looks better than what we had expected. It looks like it's been there since the house was built, which is exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend Mike - he was very easy to work with, very communicative, and very skilled at what he does!"

"Osmans Carpentry is excellent. Val came to the site and gave a very fair estimate of the work and the price. Communication is excellent. Flo is a very talented carpenter and installed a new 16 foot wood banister to the lower level. He also repaired a number of the stair balusters, fixing them in position very nicely. Super efficient worker who is very talented. Would hire them again without hesitation."

"My wife is literally "impossible" to please. Every job usually takes 2-3 additional trips to fix things. CHICAGOLAND HOME PRODUCTS NAILED IT ON THE FIRST VISIT! Thank you."

"VERY GOOD CARPENTERS EXCELLENT CRAFTMANSHIP THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING."

"I had an excellent experience working with Mr. Garcia who completed tuckpointing and fixed some siding for me. From the start, their professionalism was evident. They kept me well-informed throughout the entire project, ensuring I understood each step of the process. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were impressive, resulting in a job well done. The tuckpointing work was expertly executed, restoring the beauty and integrity of my homeâ s brickwork. Additionally, the siding repairs were seamlessly integrated, leaving my exterior looking flawless. I highly recommend this contractor for their reliability, communication, and outstanding workmanship. Itâ s reassuring to know there are professionals like them who take pride in their work and deliver exceptional results."

"A reliable, excellent work and an attention to details carpenter"

"They completed the entire roofing project in two days time. However, the inside trim work around the skylights has been delayed for three weeks. The good thing is that I've held back a hefty amount of monies to finish paying off the project. I get there are delays based upon who does what type of specialty work. The carpenter is scheduled for next week Tuesday. We'll see."

"In July of 2022, Gorman Restoration and Remodeling restored the original exterior front door on my 1940 English Tudor home. The door poses a challenge due to the rounded top. Most places I called wouldn't even consider restoring the door. Lucky Gorman had one of his carpenters replace the peeling wood veneer, then add a stain and top coat of polyurethane. It turned out beautiful. Unfortunately, less than a year later, the veneer began to peel. Not necessarily a reflection on the excellent work completed by the carpenter, but rather due to extreme sunlight damage. I contacted Lucky in March of this year and told him what had happened. He worked diligently to find a carpenter who could come up with a permanent solution to the problem. And this past Thursday his carpenter, Norbert, removed the veneer, stripped off all the glue and residue, stained and sealed the door. It looks better than it did before. And best of all, he honored the 1 year warranty. There aren't many companies that would do this. Lucky is an honest and honorable contractor and I would definitely hire his company for future work as well as recommend him to my friends and family."

"Showed up earlier than scheduled to measure the door and to install replacement hardware. Installers used time well, protected the floors, and cleaned the job site. Very professional tradespeople."

"Edward was on time and came prepared for the work. We even asked him to do some siding work and are looking forward to getting the job done soon."
