I don't think I fully understood the offering for $49--so my expections may have been out of alignment from the actual estimation done. As a general contractor, his focus was on the construction aspects of the job. I was thinking that there would be someone that could speak to the specifics around flooring choices, cabinet alternatives, etc. The estimation was detailed, but was missing a couple of the items I had gotten excited about. But I felt that the owner was fair and trustworthy. If I decide to move ahead with the large renovation he quoted me, I'd definitely feel comfortable using him as my general contractor."

After plastering, sanding, etc he primed and painted that wall, then painted the downstairs ceiling where leaks had done damage, and also repaired and painted a damaged den wall. Overall work quality was excellent. Aleks arrived exactly when scheduled, was very pleasant to work with, and answered all of my questions about the project. His costs were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to others and will be the painter I contact for any future painting needs."
