"Kanopi handled everything from sale of Armstrong suspended ceiling grid and tiles to arranging a local contractor to install. I spent many hours over several months looking for a contractor to install a suspended ceiling with no joy. I came across Kanopi thru HomeAdvisor by Anti and was able to complete this job in about 2 weeks from contacting them. Highly recommend using Kanopi for sales and installation of Armstrong products."

"Upper Echelon Reno was one of the contractors we contacted for our bathroom remodel, which included flooring, toilet, moldings. I was impressed right from the start. Mr. Kirkpatrick listened very courteously and attentively writing down EVERY concern we had about the remodel. He even had several good ideas and suggestions. The quote listed everything, including materials, in it and was exact and detailed. The price was very reasonable too; considering the quality of the work performed. The work men where fast, efficient and dedicated. The quality, fit, and finish of the work was outstanding. I would hardily commend them for any renovations They also did not ask for payment until we were 100% satisfied with the work, and they said if we had any problems to contact them any time. We will definitely be recommending, and using them, again if we have a need."

"The owner Travis came out to our home after normal working hours due to my wife not being home at regular hours. He was extremely professional and polite. After talking with him about his local company and showing him around our home he come up with a bid immediately and we hired his team that evening. We have had them in our home three times now and all I can say is WOW. His team of cleaners are amazing. Our bathrooms sparkle the hardwood looks great...everything is dusted including those terrible high ceiling fans. My wife is thrilled with their work and it has eased her load since she has a long commute each day. Everything was in it's place all the trash was out and the house never looked better. I would be happy to recommend Capital Cleaning Company to all my family friends and neighbors.

"I bought a deal for $49 for a kitchen or bathroom design consultation but had them move forward with the kitchen and bathroom renovation. They could've followed the schedule, and done a better job overall. We're still waiting for them to redo some work that was insufficient."

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
