"Steve was very professional. He did excellent work to my kitchen ceiling repair and have already hired him for another job. He covered up the floors and kitchen counters so there would be no other damage, cleaned up after he was done, and has very fair pricing."

Small jobs welcome
"What a great company for a messy job removing popcorn ceiling and then replacing it with a drop down ceiling. A great company that worked efficiently, timely and the cleanup was terrific. A crew of 6-7 folks were all very polite, did their jobs and very respectful of my home and furnishings. I would recommend this company for any ceiling work. Ann"

"They did really good work with my textured ceilings. You may have to work with them on timing because they seem to be busy all the time but they will answer call and texts in quick time frame. Had very minor repairs that had to be made after the work was completed, which is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. They did come back in a timely manner and fix the issues. The cost is very reasonable and inexpensive and they work fast. Love the job they did and I recommend them for ceilings."

"I hired Johnny B. His communication was great. His pricing was within budget and he was detailed on explaining what was required to complete the job as well as made suggestions. He went above and beyond to get the job done for us. I will for sure hire him again for any future projects I may have."

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
