He also upgraded our vanity/sink, faucet and medicine cabinet. Since he noticed the need to caulk the the toilet, he advised of the need and took care of it. Also, he identified the need to replace the tile in the shower/tub area and will be taking care of that for us to prevent water damage. If Nick noticed some issue/concern, he mentioned it and offered to resolve it. Also, Nick patched drywall cracks and holes along the ceiling/wall living room and in a hallway closet and living room wall, and everything looks so much better. He provides excellent craftsmanship and is a trustworthy source for advice and insight to various home projects. "Rod and his team at Kash1 Construction provided a very reasonable bid for repairs in our garage and a small patch-and-paint job in the stairwell. We were dealing with years—decades, even—of deferred maintenance and patchwork repairs left from previous condo boards that didn’t want to invest in proper fixes. "I purchased a multifamily house with 2 stories. The 2nd floor had 1 inch original hardwood from 1920 that laid on the floor joists so you could hear every footstep downstairs and my tenants almost moved out. I hired Cesar to take on a tedious and technical ceiling soundproofing technique for the apartment using RSCI rubber clips, hat channels, insulation, and making the 1st floor airtight. I was so impressed with how he was able to juggle handling my tenant for 2 weeks, compensating for delayed shipping by driving 3 hours to New York and picking up the materials himself to make sure we meet the deadline, redoing 1 entire room at his loss and not charging me for it because the original technique we tried did not work, and listening and working with me to make sure we didn't miss any details that would cause sound transfer (and this was impressive because I am very detail oriented). My tenants moved in and were very impressed by the finished looked of the new ceilings and crown molding. We saw a sound improvement of about 15 STC in both airborne and impact noise. It cut down sound transfer by 2/3 in the 1st floor apartment. I will be adding rubber underlayment upstairs underneath the new flooring to completely block out the rest of the impact noise that transfers from the floor above to the walls downstairs that support it! I'll be calling Cesar and his crew again."

"I had a number of projects which needed work and were not really that big, yet above my ability to do the work myself or with a friend and I wasn't entirely sure where to go for help.  I had interviewed a few people, some referrals and some off the internet until I finally came to this 'real' gent, Tony.

When he came over we went through the projects and he addressed my concerns with each one.  He exhibited great attention to detail and even made some suggestions how to take better care of these things for future reference.

He fixed my kids closets, set up shelving and put up closest bi-fold mirrors in my kids rooms.  He also did some kitchen work on our cabinets, doors and fixed windows.  He was also kind enough to fix some other small issues, such as door repair and latches.  He did it in less time and in the great scheme of things cost me less than I expected, which gave me back a couple of days of free time. 

He was considerate and responsive to our needs and questions.  I know we will be using him again for future home repair/improvement projects including our deck, door and crown molding issues.
