"The owner replied to me quickly and when she came to give me an estimate of what I needed done, I knew then I completely trusted her. She gave me an estimate on the spot and we set up a date for the cleaning. I was more than happy with the job. I also never saw my stove top so clean! I’ve already scheduled another appointment. I’m a very happy customer - Thanks Angie’s List!"

Small jobs welcome

"Job was done very well. Brand new dining room ceiling looks great. A subcontractor was hired to work along with the company. It was a huge mess as a new ceiling was put in place, but the job was done in great timing!!! Lots of dust everywhere and some cleanup by myself, but for the most part all "trash" was taken by the company which was nice. Insurance co covered the cost of 4800.00 minus my deductible thank goodness as that was a costly project to rip out old ceiling that was falling apart, and drywall put back up. I painted the room myself. Paul is very good with contacting his customers immediately."

"They were on time, did great work, very responsive. Nolan and the crew repaired drywall, replaced a vanity top, and repaired a sink cabinet. Reasonably priced and reliable. Would use again in a heartbeat!"

"Kevin is a hard working, quality contractor. He's a bit new on the business end, but is very knowledgeable about working with concrete work and did an outstanding job at a fair price. I am very happy with the result!"

FAQs for acoustic ceiling tiles install projects in Jenison, MI

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.

Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.

Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.

Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
