"I highly recommend Right Hand Industries! Ernesto fixed several house projects that others had poorly done, including a leaky sink, electrical GFI issues, front door lock, a running toilet, and ceiling noisy fans. He was knowledgeable and efficient, resolving each problem correctly. The owner was patient, attentive, and responded quickly—helping the very next day after my call. Jen was friendly, professional, and accommodating with scheduling. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I will definitely use and recommend Right Hand Industries for reliable, quality work at a fair price."

"The work that was done at the house was beyond my expectations. They worked efficiently, and stayed busy all the time, you could tell they really knew what they were doing. I did not expect him to wash down and clean every door in the house, but they did and did an excellent job. I would hire this company again and again."

"This was the second project where we used JRS. A few years back, we hired Jason and Brandon to replace our deck around our swimming pool. This time, we had them renovate our bathroom and downstairs family space. The end result to both projects was incredible! Our new bathroom is modern and sleek. Our downstairs is elegant and functional. Jason and Brandon were meticulous in their approach, from the spackle and drywall down to the caulking and painting of the trim and moldings. We now have two brand new rooms and we couldn’t be more happy! I would definitely hire JRS again for a future project and I would highly recommend them for either and indoor or outdoor project."

"Creative Contracting LLC were a godsend to us. Being from out of town and during a pandemic we put all our trust in Bill Dixon and team. We were overwhelmingly pleased as each project was completed with perfection, as we had a limited ability to be at the job site. Bill, Gary and James created a beautiful tray ceiling in our bedroom, closed off the dining room by adding French doors, extended living room walls into a vaulted ceiling and added a gorgeous glass feature, stone faced a fireplace up to the vaulted ceiling, and tiled the entire house with a wood look floor tile. Mr. Dixon stayed in constant communication and offered many design ideas. The craftsmanship of Creative Contracting LLC is impeccable. The whole team held a high regard for our home project, this was evidenced by the immaculate condition the job site was maintained in. Can't wait to start the kitchen remodel with them!"

FAQs for acoustic ceiling tiles install projects in Little River, SC

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.

Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.

Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.

Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
