"I thought they were very tidy on the work site. We are really happy with the end result. They were very communicative, knew what they were doing, and they were very pleasant. They had a lot of smiles. They were very easy to reach by phone; they answered all of our questions. They also worked independently. I would say that Antonio has a great eye for design, he has a lot to contribute idea wise. So it happens fast. He is someone that you can really talk about it with, he can draw pictures, and he gets really excited about the design process."

"My living room ceiling was popcorn style and I hired master plastering to smooth the entire ceiling, did a great job and we decided to do the hole house. I really recommend them."

"Great communication. Came when he said he would to estimate. Called the day before to confirm. Came within 5 minutes of he estimated arrival and spent a considerable time covering floors and all surrounding areas with sheets of plastic. Did an incredible job matching the swirl ceiling after other contractors said it could not be done. Cleaned up all material and area. A true professional."

"The work went really well. Once Pedro’s team got started they worked really quickly on the project, and were even able to accommodate additional work that we added on as we went (once the popcorn ceilings were removed we decided to have the ceilings and walls painted, and a new light fixture added to the dining room). Everything was finished quickly and looks great!"

"We ended needing a lot more work, so they didn't actually do the work and we got refunded. And then we needed to get a quote from them for insurance purposes and there wasn't really any follow up. Our insurance company wanted to talk to them and negotiate and then we didn't hear anything after that. I don't have any complaints it's just that they wouldn't do any small repairs cause they said that the roof needed a lot more."

"EXCELLENT! When we bought this house, we saw a lot of potential, but upon moving in, we realized the previous owners did not clean anything well over a period of years. Cleaning was like peeling an onion; just about the time you thought you had it clean, you found something else, somewhere else.
Enter the crew from the Cleaning Angels, and now we have a new house! They spent nearly 8 hours covering everything from lighting fixtures to window sills and floors - corners and behind things, too - and ceiling fans. They tackled the bathrooms and kitchen, and got to things we would not have been able to reach. I have a bad back, and I thought I'd never be able to get to some of these places. The crew got it done!
They used the products they needed, and they worked diligently and with great, friendly attitudes. We've used cleaning services for nearly 10 years in other places, and this experience was, by far, the most productive and pleasant experience we've ever had.
We will be using their service for bi-weekly cleanings.

"They did a great job on the leak and realigning the design of my ceiling."
Ask the following questions to make sure you know what’s involved and that you’ve hired a good team:
Is your company licensed, bonded, and insured?
What is the best tile size for my project?
What fire rating do my ceiling tiles need?
How long will it take to install the drop ceiling?
What is the height of the finished drop ceiling?
Most residential building codes require a minimum ceiling height of 7.5 feet from the floor to the finished drop ceiling, ensuring adequate headroom and safety compliance. Since requirements can vary by location, consult your local code enforcement office or a professional installer to confirm the specific clearance needed for your project.
Installing a drop ceiling results in a loss of ceiling height ranging from 3 inches to 8 inches. The exact amount depends on factors like the size of the fixtures above, such as ductwork or lighting, and the manufacturer's recommendations for installation. Local building codes also dictate minimum ceiling heights, so it's important to consult with a professional installer to determine the optimal drop distance for your specific space.
Installing drywall costs between $1.50 and $3 per square foot for materials, labor, and finishing—significantly less than the $9 to $13 per square foot average for a drop ceiling. While drop ceilings come with a higher initial cost, they offer greater design flexibility, easy access to utility lines, and are simpler and less expensive to repair. To minimize expenses, consider budget-friendly fiberboard panels, though their appearance may be less appealing to some homeowners.
Drop ceilings offer several advantages and disadvantages.
Pros:
Easy to install and repair
Conceal stains, ductwork, and other unsightly elements
Provide quick access to ducts and wiring for maintenance
Available in various styles to suit your design preferences
Cons:
Reduce ceiling height
Tiles may require replacement after a few years
Less sturdy than traditional ceilings
Installation can be more time-consuming than drywall
Removing a drop ceiling costs between $2 and $7 per square foot, which includes disassembling the rail system and removing tiles. Factors such as ceiling size, accessibility, and disposal fees affect the total cost. If you're removing a drywall ceiling, expect costs of $2 to $4 per square foot. Hiring a professional ensures safe removal and proper disposal, preventing damage to underlying structures.
