"Randy was the exact type of professional one would want to hire for any job around the house. He was the second opinion around some drywall ceiling water damage and we went with him because his diagnosis was much more realistic, which showed the experience and problem solving capability he brought to the table. Randy kept up-to-date status every day using videos, voice memos, and pictures of work in progress. He was responsive each time I had texted over some questions or comments. He does what he says and says what he does. Additionally the attention to detail on the job, taking pictures of interior furniture in order to restore everything the way it was as best as possible, installing the zippered barriers to avoid any dust or debris to go beyond the work area, etc. â ¦ one can see the quality that goes into every facet of the project. Well managed and well executed. Watch out, heâ s going to be in high demand!"

"We hired McCormick to remodel our master bathroom, and the process couldn’t have been smoother. Khaled guided us through everything, and his team was skilled and respectful. They handled the job efficiently, stayed within budget, and kept our home tidy. Now, our bathroom feels like a relaxing oasis, with high-quality finishes and a modern touch we love. McCormick’s attention to detail really made the difference, and I’d gladly hire them for future remodels. This experience was everything we hoped for."

"Better than expected! All the guy's were respectful, always on time and didn't mess around. They did really fast great work. I would recommend Two Tree's to all my friends and family. The best part about all the work that l got done was Nick the owner charged me less than the original bid. I'm extremely happy with the full process and l have Nick and crew to thank for that......."

"And wow, they did such an amazing job! It took a long time (2500 square foot house with vaulted ceilings THAT THEY CLEANED), but it was worth every minute and every penny."

"I had my garden and bathroom remodel done. Albert and Samuel were professional, friendly, and a delight to work with. They're responsive and reliable. I also like the subcontractors whom they used on my project. They kept me informed of everything and I appreciate their excellent work."
A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
