"We are very happy with Right Hand Industries. The customer service with Mrs. Jennifer was excellent. She always kept in contact with me, she always returned my calls and she was very helpful with decision making in my home improvement project. Mr. Ben did an awesome job. Our new flooring looks so professionally done. Mr. Ben and his exceptional workmam are really Pro's in their skilled profession. They did excellent flooring work and excellent work with replacement of our old ceiling fans to our new ceiling fans. We were treated like family and the job was done with care. We are definitely going to call on them for our next project. Thank you for making our family apart of your family. I will recommend Right Hand Industries to my friends and family."

"Rusty and his crew did a wonderful job on my mothers edition onto my house. She has an absolutely beautiful one bedroom apartment with gorgeous 12 foot ceilings and an amazing set of French doors with a huge dome window over the top overlooking the back woods. Rusty was very easy to work with and always responded very quickly. He makes sure you are 100% happy with everything they do. The quality is amazing, and no corners were cut. If I could give more than five stars, I would.! Thank you so much for a job well done!"

"I have used this company several times. I trust Julianna and her staff 100% to do a great job and treat my home with care and respect. My last experience was a deep clean and I did not expect the ladies to go above and beyond to make my whole house sparkle. Prices are fair comparatively. Julianna responds to messages quickly and tries to accommodate my needs as soon as possible. I highly recommend them."

"We wanted an outdoor area that we could retreat to during all four seasons. Jason and his crew built a phenomenal gazebo, complete with windows, screens, beautiful floors, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. He also installed electrical outlets and ran a cable line so we could watch TV. The result was a phenomenal little building that makes us feel like we're up in a tree house. A job well done."

"Professional & Personable! Hired Rich based on his stellar painting reviews, hoping his meticulous workmanship would "spill over" into re-screening...And, it did! Not only was the work conveniently performed at the house, but was done quickly, neatly, and fairly priced!"

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
