Dave came out and provided an estimate for the repairs and painting. The estimate came back and was in line with what I had expected. We scheduled a date for repairs, Wednesday for the patching and Thursday for the painting. Dave returned to do the drywall work and did an excellent job installing the new drywall and patching other areas we had contracted for. John came over the next day to finish the walls and painted them. Again, excellent work. The paint matching really impressed me. The match was spot on and John feathered it in so well I could not tell where the old paint ended and the new paint started. I am very pleased with the work Adam and his team did."

Dwight had excellent communication and aside from an initial deposit on the first day, did not request payment until after the job was completed to our satisfaction. "We were very happy with the punctuality and responsiveness of A1. Steve emailed us a bid which broke down the areas which needed repaired giving us a price for each. Ultimately we decided to have all of the bid work done. We let them use their own judgement in rebuilding the front entryway in a manner similar to the original design. What they built was of the same style but is somewhat smaller and simpler (in a good way - fewer seams, less angled surfaces) and should be much easier to maintain. Most of the rest of the work was pretty straight forward wood rot repair adding horizontal cedar boards where the siding was rotting at the bottom. There was a fairly extensive amount of this sort of work and of course it all had to be painted afterwards. The only issue that came up was with the color of the trim around our front windows and garage. They originally matched their trim paint to a piece of trim on the house but we had wanted it matched to some paint we had leftover from the previous owners. When we pointed this out the mismatch with our expectations they were gracious about it and quickly fixed the issue. We are happy with the final product and would hire A1 again."

"Marc and his son are really nice. They did a great job. I had a shower drain that was leaking and he fixed that for me to. So I had a big hole in my dinning room ceiling that I had him repair and there was a ceiling light that I have hated for 19 yrs because I didnâ t like the light and it was in the wrong place it was not centered in the middle of my table. So since I had a big hole I my ceiling I asked Marc to move the light fixture for me, I got me a new light and he did a great job moving it to be under my table. He fix my ceiling to he did a great job you canâ t even till there was a whole there. Sherlock Williams gave him the wrong color of paint for the ceiling it was a white my ceiling is a little darker he had to fix some molding to and he was able to mix some of that paint with the ceiling paint and he got it to match perfectly. Marc did a great job I have other jobs that he will be doing for me."
