"JES is doing an encapsulation job on our crawlspace and the job performed yesterday was to spray for mold in the crawlspace prior to the installation process. Two workers arrived on time and proceeded with the work in a professional manner. Montola G. was the lead and foreman. He mixed up the anti-mold compound with assistance from Kelvin J. and sprayed all wood surfaces in the crawlspace. I checked the work the next day and his work was thorough. Both men were very pleasant and helpful. They took most of the bags I had filled with removed insulation with them when they were finished. Montola and Kelvin did a great job, represented JES as professionals and were really nice guys as well."

"I had an unusual custom flooring request using refurbished barn wood that included a tile mural on the stair risers. Frank was very accommodating given the indeterminate schedule (we had to wait to find a building, get the wood, then have it milled for flooring), worked with me during delivery, and quickly scheduled his team. Their team was fast, efficient, and expertly skilled at making adjustments to make it all work. They cut shims where needed, shaped boards to fit (the flooring was in various widths), created framing pieces for the tile mural, and did it all with hard work and great attitudes. Our project included a complete kitchen remodel, hardwood floors throughout the first floor and a basement buildout including bedroom, kitchenette, rec room and bathroom. A major part of the kitchen remodel was the demolition of a 80s style brick cooktop/stove area and inserting a significant/primary LVL beam to provide an open-concept kitchen with an island. The open kitchen is beautiful!!! Being an engineer I was concerned about the significant structure change to the core of the house. But the owner of URB, Aiman, did an outstanding job of explaining and designing the support structure. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and experience. Aiman was extremely helpful in the design of the project and provided ideas, options and tradeoffs. Aiman (the owner) and Mo (the PM) were on-site often to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. They were flexible in last-minute changes that I requested and the outcomes were fantastic. They were able to complete the project just before my daughters college graduation party and the guests were impressed. Eventhough the project took longer than expected and some additional costs were incurred due to the original house condition, overall it was a great experience with United Residential Builders and I would recommend them with high marks!"

"Green Earth Landscaping did a fairly large job for me transforming my backyard which was vary overgrown with thick woods and vines, into a beautiful open oasis.Thier was quite a bit of work/labor to do this and they were very flexable and fair on pricing,no hassels or surprise extra costs. "I had basement pros come in to fix a hole underneath my basement stairs that was caused by erosion. John Choi did a great job explaining to me the product that they use to fill the gaps created by erosion. They use a relatively new technology HMI polyurethane which is easy to install. A few holes in my concrete and they can fill the hole with the material. I choose this product because it uses recycled material and is environmentally friendly. It has a smooth finish instead of pores to help repel water and prevent molding. Not only did John take the time to show me samples he was patient in allowing me to take the information he gave and do my own research so I could be confident in my choice. The team was very professional when they came to my house. The respected my property and got the job done on time. I am extremely happy with their work and end result. It looks like they were never there in the first place with the exception of a sturdy, level, entryway to my basement"

"I had a concrete steps and stone wall project last September/October 2021. It involved a massive amount of work to remove existing steps, landings and sidewalk and then put everything back together. They did the work in the way it should be properly done. This project also needed drainage systems installed to take the water from my front gutter and front landing and another to take water coming from backyard in rainstorms to the drainage ditch along the road. This project was more work than I ever imagined! They worked well and hard to accomplish this one-of-a-kind task ( my house is approximately 200 years old, stone and built into the side of a hill). Proper drainage is paramount because my kitchen, living room and utility room are 8 feet underground then the very front of the house opens to front patio and sidewalk, Their consultant, Joe Milano is great to work with as are the crews and especially the owner of SBC! I will never use anyone else but SBC for all my future projects. In my opinion they are the best because the owner hires great people and he is involved with every project as is his Outdoor Design Consultant."

"They did a great job fixing what I needed to fix. He asked if he could put concrete in to fill in the space between my steps and the sidewalk (where weeds would grow and be difficult to pull out). I said yes. I then came out to find a really sloppy application of cement on the public sidewalk. I asked him to clean it up. From that point on the customer relationship aspect changed and he seemed annoyed. His demeanor changed. If I pay someone to do work, I expect them to do it well or not do it at all."

"We have a historical restoration building in downtown Washington, D.C. We had sent out nationally 75 bids for period construction and historical restoration work. This job included replication or historical tiles in all bathrooms and also replication of historical tiles in all hallways. Also the replication/repair of period wooden windows, which were rotted, also floors needed structural repairs made. There was a large amount of decorative plaster relief work, which had to be repaired, and molds made to replicate areas that were non-existent. The exterior had a great deal of masonry repair work which included repointing of all brick and stone work. Also included in the exterior of this job was stone carvings that needed repair/replacement. Out of all of the responses to our bids which we national bids we centered upon the most knowledgeable and gifted company probably the best in the U.S.A which was Grady"s Construction and Plastering of Wilkes-Barre, PA. His unique gifts had given us the opportunity to bring back the granger and integrity of this very important historical structure in downtown Washington, D.C.
