"My driveway removal and replacement was a large project, but the estimate Amy gave me was very reasonable and accurate for the materials and time needed. I knew exactly how I wanted the finished driveway to look and the dimensions. Travis and Amy came out again to go over the project, and I felt Travis understood my expectations exactly. Still, they are the experts and gave detailed explanations or why some of my ideas where very good or could possibly not be aesthetic or structurally sound as I expected. I called several times before, during and after the project. Amy and Travis always took time to explain the answers to my questions and possible options to consider. The foreman Anthony and his crew were excellent. Very polite and looking out for my safety when I was trying to "help". Talking with Zach during our initial meeting sealed the deal for us because he presented as a person of integrity and he answered all of our questions with patience and kindness and thoroughly explained the process and details regarding the work that was needed for our home. When the work began, the “lifting team” consisting of Tyler, Brandon and Grant were phenomenal! They had great personalities, were cordial and kind, and worked diligently for two days straight for very long hours with a 100+ GA heat index, while maintaining positive, cheerful dispositions. They explained the process and answered all of our questions concerning the process of the pilings being drilled down and the home being lifted. It appeared that they were taking the same type care that they would have if it was their own home. The interior crew, Shane and Flint, were also extremely polite and very detailed explaining how the foam would fill the gap of open space that was created under the home after the lifting process. They were personable and worked consistently throughout the day, only stopping when we asked questions. Overall, this has been a great experience!!! I feel extremely confident in choosing Alpha Foundations. Our family had interviewed two local companies in Ga and then asked Alpha to come from Florida to give us a quote. "This was an excellent experience all around. George responded to our contractor outreach very quickly, gave us what we considered a fair estimate and everything went like silk from there. The crew were perfectly on time every day, worked hard and steady, and wasted no time getting things done. The job did turn out to be a little larger than expected--our yard is on a slope and called for certain compensations requiring extra fill dirt and concrete. Additionally, we ended up deciding to maximize the slab space and settled on a 14' x 14' rather than the originally planned 14' x '12'-- so the final cost was a little higher than the original estimate, but not by a shocking difference. The crew kept us informed every step of the way and there were zero surprises as the job proceeded. The finished slab looks terrific. We intended to do a diligent cost-compare but of the two other contractors who set appointments with us for estimates, neither one showed up at the appointed time, nor did they contact us to explain or reschedule; for us, that's an instant F-grade. So, in the interests of time and certainty, we decided to just get the job done with C&L who have a stellar reputation for quality work and had already demonstrated a high level of professionalism. I'm sure I could have found someone to do the job for less, but with something like this I want to be sure of expertise in all aspects. Expertise is what I got, the finished job is perfect and I would trust C&L with any concrete or paving job in the future."
