"They were on time and completed the job ahead of schedule. They also sealed windows to stop the leak, repaired the damaged drywall, painted the room and placed a caped my cornice."

"Frank Maggio was a very helpful professional. He included some additional concrete work which was not in the initial scope of the job, nor being paid for. He finished my driveway in 4 days, including demolition of the old, and re-grading. I am very pleased with the outcome."

"Having outside repairs done secondary to damage due to Hurricane Sandy. Leakage from gas and water pipes from home to outside. as well as foundation discovered after heavy rains few weeks ago. LI waterproofing came immediately to assess the problem and scheduled their work around other workers. While working, they discovered and fixed other areas of possible leakage. This is the second time I have used them and would recommend them to anyone

"I can’t say enough good things about Chad and his crew. We feel so lucky to have found them after several contractors never called me back after promising to do the work and left us with half started projects. Not only are we thrilled with how it came out, the price was reasonable (there were some permit issues from things which had recently changed) and Chad and crew came and fixed everything in a timely manner!!! Chad did everything he needed to do to make sure we were set!! I would recommend Chad over and over again and already have. If you need an outdoor patio installed or other various landscaping work please do not hesitate to call Chad first. :) We are so happy to have found him."

"We had a concrete floor that was falling apart covered in a beautiful flake epoxy finish. Frank called when he was coming and gave a complete explanation of the project with the estimate. The work was done on time, neatly and the floor looks fabulous. We should have done this years ago. We love our floor and this company is a dream to work with."

"THE CO. REMOVED THE OLD DRIVEWAY ASPHALT, LEVELED THE GROUND, REMOVED OLD DEBRIS, AND REPAVED WITH NEW ASPHALT. THE DRIVEWAY LOOKS GREAT. THEY LEFT THE PLACE VERY CLEAN AND WHILE DOING THE JOB DID NOT INCONVENIENCE ME IN ANY WAY.THE COST WAS APROX $3200
ON THE 2ND CONTRACT, THEY SIDED AND REPLACED THE WINDOWS IN MY OLD BARN, WHICH WAS CONVERTED TO A GARAGE MANY YEARS AGO. THE BARN WAS NEVER SIDED (WAS BUILT IN 1912) .THEY INSTALLED THE SIDING, THE NEW WINDOWS, REPAIRED THE DAMAGED WOOD, CLEANED AND PREPED THE GARAGE, INSTALLED INSULATION, CREATED A SOFFIT (THE BARN HAD NEVER HAD A SOFFIT). REFRAMED AND SHIMMED THE NEW FRAMES AND INSTALLED NEW ALUMINUM TRIM ALL AROUND.MY BARN NOW LOOKS LIKE A COMPLETELY NEW STRUCTURE.
ONCE AGAIN THEY CAME AND DID THE JOB, EFFICIENTLY, CLEANLY, AND DID NOT INCONVENIENCE ME.
I WAS ALSO VERY PLEASED WITH THE COST
MY NEXT BIG JOB WILL BE FINISHING MY BASEMENT NEXT YEAR AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO GIVE THEM A CALL WHEN I AM READY.

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
