I Submitted a request on a Saturday morning around 6:00 and had a phone call from Pete May - the owner of Precision Decorative Concrete asking to come by that morning for an estimate! Pete showed up and was professional and and very detailed in his proposal. He said he would email me later in the day. Because I have had several other estimates I expected that Pete s estimate would be out of my price range. I was very happy that the estimate was well below others and provided more detail. ( this project has been on the back burner for 3 years !) I accepted his proposal and the job was complete within a week ! ( I didn t ask, but didn t expect them before 8:00 am!). "I recently hired Local Boyz to break up my existing concrete patio which was pitched towards my house and not the best looking. First when I had Bill come to my house for an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and I could tell that he had lots of experience. His father, also named Bill works with him and the both of them have an insane amount of experience. Bill senior even used to teach masonry so you know that theyâ re pros. Bill and his team were very patient with me as I altered the final plans multiple times. Their end goal was to just make me happy which they did. I now have a large patio with a custom bump out for a fire pit that I installed, along with a nice sawcut and stained border that gave my patio a great decorative touch. They were always on schedule, professional, and affordable!!"

"From the initial phone call to the completion of the job Quality 1st provided top notch professional service. A couple points which makes this easy to write. Communication is key whether in person or via telephone and Q1 was exceptional in this regard at every point. Telephone conversations with customer services was pleasant and cordial, never rushed or snotty. Paul our salesman was here for quite a while answering questions and assessing our needs in the basement. Of only was he on time for our appointment he was about 10 minutes early too. The cost of this project was a good chunk of change for us but after too many times of shop-vac’ing water we knew it was time to bite the bullet and move forward with making life a little easier and not have the issue of when will we get water in the basement again hanging over our heads. I was impressed that Quality 1st uses their own products and has their own R&D facilities. As for the installation, enough cannot be said for the crew that was here. I got the call at 9am they would be here in 20 minutes and at 9:20 they were backing in my driveway. I met the foreman Mario and his 2 helpers. We went into the basement and they looked around and asked if I had any questions. We had almost everything out of the basement and what was left they covered in plastic. By 9:50am they were running the jackhammers. We have a 1,500 sqft ranch and these guys worked all day, they didn’t stop and worked their tails off. I can’t remember exactly when the jackhammer stopped but by 2 pm the channel was dug out and they were beginning to lay out for the channel that carries the water to the sump. About 4pm Kyle showed up to assess the job and see if I had any questions or concerns. We spoke about the job and we went downstairs to see the progress. He stayed on site for about 45 minutes after making sure I was comfortable with how the job was going. By 5:15 or so the job was completely finished. Before they left Mario went over everything regarding the sump system. As far as cleanup, this is a dusty job. Concrete dust is ultra fine and they did a fantastic job of not only sweeping but they also dusted off areas which were not covered in plastic. They left no mess to speak of., I was very satisfied with their work and attention to detail. It’s easy to nitpick any job at anytime and there is nothing I would call them out on. Finally as for the functionality of the sump system I wish I had a comment on that at this time. We’ve lived in our house for 25 years and until around Thanksgiving of this year (2018) we’ve only had water about 4 times. Between Thanksgiving (2018) and New Years (2019) we got slammed 4 times and nothing since. With the symptoms of how our basement got water, I feel comfortable with the system Quality 1st installed and am confident they will stand behind their work and warranty. We’re also happy this is transferable to the next homeowner when we sell the house and it is an excellent selling point when the time comes."

"We hired AG Construction for 3 jobs. Alex was on top of everything from start to finish. He listened to my needs and made suggestions which I took and it made a big difference. From the day we hired him until the day after all three jobs were done he was in touch at least once a day. There was never a time I did not know the status of the job. The crew was friendly and worked tirelessly all day. They started the job and cleaned up at the end of each day. "We found Sun Viking on Angie’s List as a highly recommended company. They were hired to edge and border our landscaping, create two large planter boxes, redo our front walkway and create a side landscaped area with tress. All I have to say is phenomenal job. Not only was everything completed beyond my expectations but Derek, the owner, and David were highly professional and courteous. They were able to save the original stones from the walkway and reuse them, keeping the old charm to our house. David even used the left-over stones to fill in a hole my dog did and made him a little patio. I don’t know about the other companies, because they never called me back, but I think Sun Viking is the best. We are thinking of a backyard patio in the future and I will no doubt hire them to complete. I am told that is there specialty. Great work and thanks."
