Meanwhile, Nicholas himself went far beyond the call of duty to deal with problems tunneling chipmunks had created under the patio his crew had installed a several months ago. He removed a row of pavers, dug down about a foot and a half, and built a concrete barrier to block their routes, spending several hours himself on the work. He did this at no additional charge. As usual, the work on the new walkway was perfect. And Nicholas always makes suggestions for little improvements, as he did yesterday, to flare the walkway where it joined another one. His crew also did some additional work on another area that hadn't even been discussed previously or included in the quote, again at no charge. Nicholas is an honorable businessman. He and his crew do impeccable work, and are a pleasure to deal with."

They pointed out the problem could actually get worse and there probably was not any void areas under the concrete to fill with polymer.
