"Bella View did multiple work on my property and every time it was done exactly how I wanted. The quality of work was exactly what I expected. I had the company do my driveway, patio steps, and install a sump pump in my basement. Very knowledgeable people that were quick and efficient with the job at hand. Would highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful experience with Cambridge Landscapes from the initial estimate visit until the job was complete! Very professional, great communication, and always willing to answer our questions. We were referred to Cambridge Landscapes from a friend and would highly recommend this company to others as our project came out better then expected. All of the workers did a great job! Thank you Cambridge Landscapes for the perfectly leveled concrete shed slab and awesome paver patio that you created for us!!"

"Jaguar Stone & Land absolutely exceeded my expectations. I almost thought it was to good to be true when I reached out and was told they could start the next day. I had spent a few weeks chasing down a contractor who had previously agreed to do the work. Their crew was extremely professional, always left the job site clean at the end of the day. They also did an amazing job grading the slope of the hill so that we can pull up our car easily. The pavers were laid with extreme care and additional measures like adding some cement around the sides were done to keep them from shifting over time. I will absolutely reach out when we are ready to start our backyard renovation."

"Absolutely Incredible! Matt and his team were on time, fast, efficient, and extremely up front about the challenges my driveway posed. Pricing was excellent and I can’t wait to hire them again to do some concrete work on my patio. These guys are top notch."

"CFV Contracting did an amazing job on our new stamped concrete patio. My wife reached out to CFV through their website to get an estimate. Eric from CFV stopped by the same day to speak with us about what we were looking for and got us an estimate a couple days later. We had gotten estimates from other companies and CFV's prices were less than half of the competitors! CFV was able to fit us into their schedule and complete the patio exactly when they estimated. Their crew was professional & polite and was careful to keep the construction site tidy. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished patio! The quality of their work is excellent and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in a stamped concrete patio. If we ever need more concrete work in the future we will definitely be reaching out to Eric and the fine people at CFV Contracting again."

"Curt was a great guy and so was Chris. They went above and beyond and stay ready to come back if there are any issues. Left behind some sand to fill in as needed. Did extra work with pressure washer to get areas of the house where mold grew. Nice guys -nice work"

FAQs for concrete work projects in New Hope, PA

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.

Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.

Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.

An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
