"From the initial point of contact for the final walk-through everything was spot on. Sean, Holly, and the entire Daulinghaus team was professional and friendly. I bid out five total contractors inland they by far were the most fair and reasonable yet qualified. They had a plan and they resolve my issue"

Customers say: Quality work
"They did an excellent job on my concrete project. They worked with me on my short time frame and went above and beyond to make sure the gate was relocated and secure so that my dogs didn't get out while it was drying for two days. They also gave me a great price. Thank you for a great job."

"Gauge is a Representative who puts his Clients first. He reminds me, of a younger me. (This says a lot, because I was always a top notch Sales Rep and I retired early, as a result of my personal efforts and how I always did, as I said, and placed my Clients as top priority). I have yet to begin my project, but he won over my business and I?m excited to see the results. I?m confident they will exceed my expectations."

"The owner contacted me within hours and continued to communicate with me until all my questions were answered. The price was given to me and it was so reasonable, I asked if they could start the next day and of course they did. The crew arrived early that morning and got to work and my wife and I could not believe the quality of work and they were so personable and friendly. This is the first review I have written but my wife and I just to try and let everyone know, that if they want a company to do some work for them and just know the work will be beautiful Wild Jungle is the company to use. I even asked if they could stall a brick wall today and without hesitation that job was done as well. Thank you to the Gentleman that painted our walls, Alexis smiled all day and he along with the the Gentleman that did the concrete repair and stucco David was all about customer service and his work is absolutely awesome. The owner Amadeus is all about the customer service and he was so good to us, he even helped us pick a wall color and he called me around 7.00pm while at a paint store, which shows you right there he cares. Thank you so much to Amadeus and his wonderful crew, we would recommend you to every friend we know and it was such a pleasure working with you all. Five star plus rating, thank you"

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
