"On July 1st (2021), Mel and Stephan from Innovative Basement Authority dug a 30'x18" trench by hand to bury our sump pump discharge pipe. They installed a freeze valve, 30' of 5" PVC, and a discharge grate, exactly where we asked to place it. They had to dig right next to the garage foundation, so this was no easy feat. They also made short work of removing a 4'x4' concrete pad for us. The guys were very courteous, punctual, and seriously hard-working. They did an exceptional job, and in just half a day, I was able to check 1 more item off my honey-do list! "Don Howard is an extremely proficient carpenter and craftsman based on years of experience and practice.  He offered many suggestions and ideas and explained every detail of his plan.  Tearing out tile and wallboard is a messy endeavor, but Mr. Howard was very respectful of my home, covering the furniture with large sheets of plastic and working in a cramped space with surprising control of dust.  He coordinated well with the plumber and included two of his family members to assist, making for an efficient operation.  At the start he carefully calculated distances and brought in all the supplies that fit perfectly.  He selected and provided a grab bar, towel rack, soap dish/grab bar and toilet-paper holder that fit the decor perfectly, saving me hours of shopping for products I had no experience selecting.  The bathroom renovation was completed without a snag in a week and is beautiful.
