My job is almost completed, new steps are in place, retaining wall is repaired and looks new. All that is left is to have my railing re-installed once the steps have cured for a few weeks. "We needed to get our front steps replaced due to age and wear and tear. I reached out to Barrow Masonry to get an estimate to get my steps resurfaced. Liam Barrow got back to me right away and he worked around my schedule. Liam promptly showed up on the day and listened to what I wanted done. He did offer suggestions but agreed with what I wanted done. Liam went over what he was going to do with the steps and stuck with his plan. Liam always told me when he was going to show up, the progress of the job and was very responsive when I texted him with any questions I had. I did get another estimate and the other contractor wanted to remove all of the old concrete and replace it with new. Liam assured me that my steps didn't need to be replaced. We had a complex project involving four LARGE trees situated on a bank, one almost dead from a lightning strike, overhanging power lines, and only accessible through a backyard neighbor's yard. It involved a huge crane, log trucks to haul away the trunks of the trees, and just about every other piece of equipment imaginable. The quote we received was less than HALF of the next closest contractor. The work was performed exactly as specified. They cooperated with PECO who placed several restrictions on how long power could be interrupted. After the wood and equipment were removed, they used leaf blowers to lift up the grass in our neighbor's yard. They left little evidence that they had ever been there. They were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree work done."

"They installed an exterior drainage system without sump pump to get water away from the slab on grade foundation. They were the only ones to offer a warranty on their work. Compared to other bids they were the most reasonably priced. They are prompt at returning calls and offer a written quote up front. On work completion they left the worksite in good condition, replacing the sod where it had been removed to do the work. They also covered the perimeter drain on top with river stone so that it looked decent. Would use again."

"We have a historical restoration building in downtown Washington, D.C. We had sent out nationally 75 bids for period construction and historical restoration work. This job included replication or historical tiles in all bathrooms and also replication of historical tiles in all hallways. Also the replication/repair of period wooden windows, which were rotted, also floors needed structural repairs made. There was a large amount of decorative plaster relief work, which had to be repaired, and molds made to replicate areas that were non-existent. The exterior had a great deal of masonry repair work which included repointing of all brick and stone work. Also included in the exterior of this job was stone carvings that needed repair/replacement. Out of all of the responses to our bids which we national bids we centered upon the most knowledgeable and gifted company probably the best in the U.S.A which was Grady"s Construction and Plastering of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
