"I am so happy with the work that 5 Star Concrete did for me. The price was reasonable and the work they did was great. I needed new concrete by the garage overhead door and some new concrete by my back door. Gibran even did a few little extras for me at no additional cost. He came out to my house on Thursday and gave me an estimate. Monday morning he came out with his crew and did the job. He is the Owner of this Company and he comes out with his crew to work with them and oversees the work being done. Gibran is honest and listened to any concerns I had regarding the work and he will make suggestions if he sees a way to make it even better. He is a very busy guy so if you call him and get the voicemail, leave him a message and he will get back to you."

All the mentioned work occurred during 3 visits spread across some 18 months; but none of the visits required more than a single day to complete. Work was conveniently scheduled and the worker(s) always arrived on time; if not 15 minutes early. A year after our last work was done (the poly-jacking), The Real Seal, at my request but at no charge, even sent out a technician to replace/redo some concrete plugs in those poly-jack holes that had popped out probably due to outdoor temperature swings."

"These guys are amazing! They took a concrete pad, cut it in half and raised one section to create a step. This allowed for easy entry into our building instead of a high stair. Secondly, they leveled a 50 foot long span of sidewalk where each section tipped a different direction. It was a mess and they made it smooth and hazard free."

"I called and spoke to the Owner Ed who happened to be located within a few miles from our home and he quickly came by the following day to look at our chimney. Upon meeting with him I got the great vibe and his professionalism was something that is a rare find, especially when you call a number of folks looking for service and never get a call back to even take a look. He looked at the chimney (which was missing bricks and the liner was cracked) to explain that a rebuild of the chimney above the roofline was needed. He counted the number of bricks that would be needed along with a new cap and replacement clay tiles and gave a us a great price. Since his price was lower than others I had to review what others were saying and surely it was the same professionalism that I saw that others were going on and on about. We decided that Edmar Corp would be the ones to handle our repair needs.
We were able to get scheduled date quick and they were flexible with us by working on a Saturday. The team of 4 arrived early morning and got setup very quickly. Their attention to the surrounding safety of our (and our neighbor) house was amazing. They setup boards in front of all the windows to prevent any debris from the teardown from causing any damage and dropped tarps in all the areas to prevent any dust and debris from getting around. Our old chimney came down very quickly (not a good sign) and they got started with laying down new brick and the clay tile liner. During the entire process I had mentioned there were areas of tuckpointing around the house that had cracked and fallen loose and they quickly jumped filling in the missing mortar and cleaning up (outside of the orignal work). The guys that came by were extremely skilled and answered any questions I had during the process. Trust me when I say that these are some of the greatest masons I have seen and their attention to details show. One of the men offered to install the chimeny cap I purchased during their cleanup and the end result was amazing. A sort time after the owner stopped by to verify the work and called to ensure that we were satisfied with the services performed. Let me say that I joined Angie's List to provide this review and amazing experience from Edmar Corporation. I would highly recommend them for your masonry needs; great pricing, amazing skills and down to earth yet professional team of individuals who don't overlook detail.

"Sasho and his crew did a phenomenal job on a common basement walkway at our apartment complex in Chicago. He laid down a new polyurea floor which took about 2 days from start to finish. It was a major upgrade over the old painted concrete floor we had previously. He also does a great job communicating with clients! Highly recommended his work!"

"Company is owned by JD Matheim (sp?) and he comes to do the work along with three other workers. All work hard and are careful of other plantings. Great communication throughout the process. He underestimated the sod by six rolls and the mulch so he came back the next day by himself and finished the job. He didn't charge for the additional sod and mulch."
