"Mike Moniz was not daunted when my project became a larger than expected challenge. What was expected to take 3 days turned out to be 9 due to the conditions found under the tile of our patio. To finally reach the original concrete, 5 inches of surprising "junk" had to be removed. Rotted posts holding up the roof had to be replaced. Ultimately, the new covering of the patio turned out fine. He went on to clean and seal the stone pool deck. Impediments in the old stone were corrected and the sealing took place. Not only do I praise Mike's work, even more I must compliment his personality, patience and perseverance."

I had a complete muddy mess in my backyard which he stabilized with beautiful river rock, decompressed granite, pavers, three trees, and low maintenance plants (red yucca and Mexican feather grass, and some artificial grass. "The quality of work was okay, but the problem began when the company who were doing my patio cover called and said they could not proceed because the city permit had not been pulled for the concrete work Mr. Martinez had done. I called Mr. Martinez and asked if he had pulled a permit from the city for the concrete pad and he said, he didn't know he had to pull one, that's hard for me to believe. I told him that for me to move forward with my patio cover the city of Selma said he need to come by and do the paperwork for the permit. The cost was $500 and he said if he pulled a permit now, he would have to removed the concrete he had poured and redo it (not my problem). I told him the city said i could do the permit myself and sign the form. I ask him because he fail to pull the permit, would you he be willing to pay half of the cost of the permit ($250) if I did the city permit myself, he said he would and he would bring his portion over the follow Tuesday. After not hearing from Mr. Martinez I sent a text on Tuesday and I called him on Wednesday and he has yet to reply to either. I believe when you have a business and you fail to do what you say you're going to do, it breaks a line of trust. So for that reason I would not recommend Mr. Martinez business to anyone. I recommend if you choose to use this business, make sure you get everything in writing before the work begins. I didn't and it cost me more money."
